Meal was average, service not great, and not enough staff. Really good coffee. Takes about half an hour to 45 minutes to recieve food. Prices are okay. Free Wifi doesn't work.

First time back since before lockdown, but were very disappointed. Only two staff on and the service wasn’t very good. Good coffee, food average. Won’t rush back.

We are Pegasus locals and everytime we go here we have a bad experience... well we thought we would give it a go given the circumstances and give them another chance after covid19 lockdown to support our local businesses... well what a unpleasant experience... arrived...at 2.30pm only to be told straight away by the Young staff member that they close at 3pm and the kitchen is closed... then told by the next staff member that walked out that they close at 3pm.. no "Hi how are you, can we help you".. waited over 10 mins to get 3 things heated in the microwave and 2 takeaway coffees and there were NO other customers how ironic... tables not cleared and then another 3 men came in at 2.45pm only to be told straight away without any hello or anything by the young girl again that they close at 3pm... they also had a covid19 contract tracing form to fill out but the 3 people that entered the cafe after us did not fill this out as this was set out on a table not within eye view and also the staff did not point this out and/or ask them to do this as they clearly just did not care.. appalling service!!! Food was also tasteless and uneatable.More

One of my fav reasons for heading to Washington Beach is this combo of cafe, restaurant, music venue and even wedding place.

Stopped here randomly. Glad we did. Very nice lunch. The pumpkin Moroccan soup was a delight. And TripAdvisor is a pain to use.

Stopped here as a central point to meet family whilst exploring the North Island. Beautiful setting, great choice of food including a children's menu with great waffles! Staff were efficient and friendly. Managed to get a table on the deck which overlooked the ocean, just...amazing. We desperately needed to connect to WiFi which is advertised as free but could not log on and the staff member could not help us however, did not impact on a lovely lunch.More

Nice and clean cafe and bar. They have great coffee and the muffins are mouth watering. Excellent service from the friendly staff. Worth stopping by here for a break.

We visit regular with friends after a beach walk. Fantastic service and love it when they have their famous to die for caramelised onion scones. A must visit
