For starters we arrived at 5.55pm. At 6.20 we had to call someone over to take our drinks order and at the same time ordered our entrees. At 7.30 the waiter came back to tell us the kitchen had lost our order and that he...needs us to tell him what we ordered again and offered to take our main order. As we had two small children we asked him to take the entree order to the kitchen and come back for the mains order. He forgot to come back. We then ordered our mains when the entrees arrived and left the restaurant at 8.20pm when we had finally completed our meals. The restaurant temperature was so hot we all felt sick and over heated and we were not offered water once. Absolutely terrible way to end Mother’s Day and to top it off when we rang to give feedback all the manager could say was thanks for the feedback on the temperature. 😧More

Four of us dined here and we couldn't fault the service or delicious meal and found it very affordable. Will definitely come again.

Buddha Stix promises a lot, but in a few areas it doesn't quite deliver. Firstly, the outside is a bit dingy. The stagnant pond outside needs cleaning up. Secondly, the Vietnamese Salad is just not good enough. My wife is vegetarian and was looking forward...to something that promised to be authentic. When it turned up, it was like a side salad you'd get at the pub. Not much effort, not much flavor - definitely not a Vietnamese Salad. My Vietnamese Spicy Fried Noodle dish was decent enough, but the mocktail I ordered was like a snow cone. Just not good enough. The place needs to lift it's game.More

Good service. The food was delicious. Every dish was testy and had just the right portion for everyone.

Delicious food, lovely service, & competitively price considering there’s plenty of options to eat out in the garden city. A bit confused about the booking criteria though? When I booked online for 7:30pm it said the table was booked for 9pm & we needed to...advise in advance if we required extra time. When we left, right on 9 there were heaps of empty tables? It didn’t look like there was anyone else coming in. Anyway, we enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere!More

Service was great, food for the price, Just average. The curries was enough to get full but when I saw the take away prices, pay half at Thai Box but better food, just my opinion. The ambiente is very nice too.

Was there on a whimsy, and it didn’t pay off. Looking at the menu, it was keen to cover off a number of cuisines from SE Asia, this should have been a warning sign to me. Service was good, and the dining room was clean...and tidy. I had the fresh spring rolls for an entree. They were tasty and fresh, sweet chilli sauce was boring. For main I had the Nasi Goreng, it was bland, dull, gluggy and lacking any resemblance to the original flavour and texture profile.More

Went here on the recommendation of a relative who lives in Christchurch. Was not disappointed. Service, food and cost were all very good with nice smart surroundings. Parking in car park outside was handy too.
