Been here a couple of times and amazing every time. Highly recommend this place! Food and drinks all incredible, definitely worth the price!

Last night's dinner, on Saturday 04 November, met the usual high standard for service & food on what was a very busy night. What was special was the extra effort kitchen/wait staff put into presenting a birthday cake we'd prepped with appropriate candles & on...a board. KBG staff dressed the cake with their own cut flowers & pomegranate seeds, & brought it to the table on their own board - an extra effort that emphasised KBG's care & attention to detail.More

Called in for a drink and snacks, fast friendly service, snacks were served quickly and were great, good options for indoor or outdoor seating with a great atmosphere. well worth the visit.

Kaiser is the best place in town! It is genuinely my favourite. I love the vibe , no matter what we go for - whether its a few drinks or just lunch/dinner it always hits the spot!👌🏼we leave completely satisfied and happy. All the staff...are always amazing, super friendly and welcoming which is partly why we go back so often! But today, I wanted to leave a special mention to Mason (we looked up the staff list online to find out your name) haha - over lunch today my partner and I said that you (Mason) offer THE BEST customer service we’ve had in christchurch (been here for YEARS) . You are always accomodating and do everything you can to help - you go above and beyond every time! You set an example of what attitude every waiter/manager/employee working with customers should have and you deserve the credit! So thanks again Mason!More

Beautifully decorated spot with a wonderful outdoor patio and lots of seating. The beers and food were both very good, the broccoli being my particular highlight - not sure what black garlic sauce is but it was delicious! The lamb pizza was just okay, although...this is probably because I was picturing/expecting sliced lamb instead of crumbled meat - the crust was delicious and I think I would've loved it in another flavor. They also offer a flight option for beer tastings, but it includes 6 different beers.More

Great wee spot - the food flavors were well balanced and the protein was cooked to perfection, sweet potatoes wedges and maple syrup is great! the service and ambience was warm, relaxed and friendly. Great balcony patio with heaters. A must visit in Christchurch

The service and food was excellent. The fryers are coeliac safe which made for a lot of food choices. Staff were knowledgeable and very helpful.

Stopped by Kaiser Brew Garden on day one of our Christchurch journey where we were pub crawling around to find our new local away from home. Great location and Lauren who looked after us was pretty cool and knowledgeable of the area. Will definitely be...returning on our trip.More

Sat on the balcony enjoying the music in the street below. All staff were really welcoming and friendly. Tried the alcoholic lemonade and it was so good. Had fried chicken and fries which were really tasty and were large portions. Would definitely recommend a visit...when in Christchurch.More

Great food especially the entrees which where fantastic. The waitress advised to have our entree/shared platters first before ordering our Pizzas and pleased we did as we were so full after starters we didn't need to order as many Pizza's. Only negative was that I...wanted to change my booking numbers and left several messages on their phone but they never got back to me and haven't had my Kaiser Club reward points credited to my account after a $500 spend.More

Attended here for work function. So far myself + 8 others have reported some of the worst food poisoning we’ve ever experienced following this event. 5 days and it’s still killing me, may need to see a doctor. Don’t frequent this place. It’s cost me...so much time and money in lost business and time off work. Incredibly disappointed with Kaiser SPEW Garden. Double thumbs down.More

We found this place after a quick internet search. What a lucky find it was. With one diner coeliac and one not, it’s always a challenge to find a place that everyone is happy with. The menu at Kaiser Brew Bar is almost exclusively gluten...free or can be made gluten free. This place is really neat. We arrived right on 6pm on Tuesday 1st November, and it was pretty busy but we were able to find a table. On each table is an app that you can order from and set up a tab. What a great system. Even though we had this option the hostess still came to our table pretty quickly after we were seated to check if we wanted a drink. We let her know that we’d order through the app but for some reason we couldn’t order the sample paddle through the app for hubby. No problem, she took care of that for us. We were particularly impressed at the handle she had on what was happening on the floor. When you arrive, you just go and choose where you want to sit. She knew who was new, who had ordered etc. I think her name was Victoria. Our drinks came really quickly. We choose to have the pork belly entree and a gluten free margarita pizza. Both dishes came in good time. The pork belly was beautifully cooked, tender and bursting full of flavour, the gluten free pizza was just as good as an ordinary pizza according to the non-coeliac. Both dishes were full of flavour. The staff were fast and friendly and when one of the staff popped over to clear out plates to check in on how things were, my husbands only reply was “mean azz” We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back when in Christchurch, and recommend you try the Hazy IPA beer. The innovation around the app use means you don’t have to try and grab staff attention, just keep adding to your order, just don’t forget to close off your tab before you leave.
