I've always loved this place but last night was next level with my friend currently needing to be on a FODMAP diet due to health issues and both the waiter and chef going to great lengths to create the most delicious alternate version of the...fried chicken burger! It was super busy too so it would've been easier I'm sure to not have to think about the 'workarounds' but it was presented as no trouble at all which was lovely and so appreciated.More

Great food and beer and even better service! Sitting on the balcony on a warm night, this is a great spot for an evening business meal and a few beers.

Went for a work do, had the best service we have received as a team yet. Food and drinks were amazing.

We had a table in a back corner and it was a busy night. We were often asked about drinks etc and everything came out so fast. Great selection of craft beers. We went with friends and did the Sharing Platter thing and all the plates were enjoyed. Enjoyable, buzzy atmosphere and the bar was nice and warm on a cold winter night. We liked that the background music was just that...- background. We could talk and enjoy the company without having to shout. Something of a novelty these days. There are other venues along The Terrace that we all avoid because you just know that the sound system is going to be at the excessive end of the scale. Service fluctuated from really excellent to disappeared. There was a period of about ten minutes when we wanted to order another sharing plate and there was not a wait-person to be seen or found.More

So I managed to convince my family that this would be a good spot for a family dinner. It didn’t disappoint. The share plate style meals we chose were on point, whilst the craft beer these guys are pouring are amazing! A definite stop the...next time I’m in town.More

If you're after craft beer in Christchurch, this is defintely one of the places to go. Huge selection of mostly keg, but a few cask handpulls. They do tasting flights/ paddles so it's possible to try quite a few things. Good pub snacks & meals...too. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.More

booked for 8pm, arrived on time, order nibbles/ sharing for entrees then got told we had order main asap as kitchen closes 9pm, we ordered but suggested they might need to keep kitchen open longer as at 8.45pm we got entrees, mains delivered 9.20 approx...cole as cooked by 9pm, we hadnt finished entress, whilst still eating entress got asked if want coffee as going to close coffee machine also. if they can not facilatate a booking at 8pm for 6 people do not take the bookingMore
