Had a terrible experience here when I visited last Thursday. I came into the place at around 7PM, ordered a cocktail. The waiter didn’t ask if I wanted food and took the food menu away immediately. I had to ask to have it back. The...food didn’t come out until 8:30, which was more than an hour after I placed the order. I asked 30min after ordering and the waiter said due to the large volume of orders that night, I had to wait (There weren’t that many people in the restaurant that evening and the couple arrived after me got served food much sooner than I did, which I found quite questionable) but I said ok. However, more than an hour wait for a chicken liver parfait and some green beans for one person is something very disappointing. Again, when I came in to pay, even there were few staff standing around in the corner of the room, I had to wait for one bartender to finish making all their drinks before he came and took my payment. None of the staff who saw me waiting to pay came in and assisted me or told me to wait a little. I chose this place because of its nice interior and convenient location but wouldn’t recommend this to anyone because of the poor level of service. Went here about 6 weeks ago for a Lux Lunch, which was absolutely wonderful. A delicious starter platter (breads, pate, arancini balls, meats etc), pork belly salad and bottomless prosecco, orange juice and peach pulp (my husband had a couple fo tap beers as a...replacement instead). We came back today because the food and service was so good. Booked the same Lux Lunch today. This time, we got 5 pieces of bread with a few small bits of cheese, cheese and onion dip(!) and cheese spread for the platter, and instead of the prosecco and orange juice, it was premixed with half a jug or ice. Still ok, but now it was flat and watery and couldn't make up a wee mimosa with the peach pulp etc. The pork belly salad was still delicious though. Same printed menu, same price but what was delivered was very different and quite disappointing. I can understand they might want to limit the Prosecco etc to save money, but tbh, I was really looking forward to the platter :( Won't come back for the same deal unfortunatelyMore

Had dinner on a Saturday night. Service staff are pleasant and knowledgeable, but service is extremely slow. Menu is a mixed bag. Nothing particular exciting. The meals weren't hot when they arrived and the Bucatini was rather a small meal. Understanding that the place becomes...a night-spot later on.. but the men's bathroom facilities are not really acceptable for a restaurant. There's just so much to choose from now in the city; mediocre no longer cuts it.More
