We were in Christchurch for work but decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner out as it was our wedding anniversary during the week. We found it a little hard to find with Google Maps to be honest, and once parked in the car...More

We were so lucky to dine here as part of the Ronald McDonald Supper Club. The food and wine were fantastic. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Had a great night out with friends at St Germain. Was a bit apprehensive going back as the last meal there (fish on lentils in broth) was rather a let down (having had it 4-5 times previously and loved it). Also in the entertainment book...More

My husband and I were very impressed by our evening. And the different options they had to offer for us. The staff were pleasant and we left happy. Thank you

Our party of six had a very nice dinner and plenty of lovely wine but the two of us who chose the snails were very disappointed. The rest of the meal was great but the evening was spoilt by having cold escargot in what might...More

Our first visit to the new CBD premises and it all fell a bit flat. Access is up a high, steep staircase; there is no elevator. The ambiance lacked something, made more acute by the dressed-down diners, men in teeshirts and trainers, women in puffer...More

The food is excellent here on the whole but the service is still below par. My entree was scallops - they were the size of a $1 coin or smaller, so must have been cut down as at that size the shellfish would be illegal!...More

Had dinner here and although the location felt a little random, the place was super cute. I had the 8 course degustation and it was waaayyyy too much food! But delicious. Favourites were ravioli, pork bellow and creme brûlée. YUM. Give it a go but...More

I used the term "Icing on the cake" as this is what St Germain staff, food and experience did for our family on a recent trip to Christchurch. We had travelled there for our daughters graduation from Lincoln University and went to this beautiful restaurant...More

Good, not extraordinary, but very good. Escargot was a bit bland, but the fish was very well done. Reasonably priced given the wine consumed.
