Fun environment, good service and delicious pub food. We were lucky to find this spot when most of the restaurants around us were booked out. Lucky we did as we had a delicious pub meal with excellent service.

We had a pleasant evening in the bar and even on a Thursday night it was very busy. The cocktails were good, the food was good but too many deep fried dishes for our liking and the service was very slow to start with but...did get better. Great ambiance and felt like you were in a European bar.More

Excellent service and accommodation. Great staff, easy entry/access, excellent bar (one of the best in Christchurch) and the cocktail bar opens late in the evening. Excellent quality all round. The rooms are stylish, lots of room and high ceilings. The gym is very well equipped...with a pool. Couldn't ask for more. I've been to all hotels in Christchurch and OGB is the best.More

We called in for a drink and a bite to eat on a very warm Easter Sunday afternoon. Service was friendly and welcoming despite being pretty busy - everyone was made to feel a valued customer. The outdoor seating was perfect and we spent a...couple of hours enjoying the Ploughman's platter and a couple of drinks. What a lovely central city (opposite the cathedral rebuild) location.More

Had the pleasure to spend 2 nights at the Heritage in Christchurch and on both nights took the opportunity to sit in the OGB Cafe and listen to the feature artists. Everything about this place was superb. The waiting staff (so friendly abs obliging), the...food was incredible - highly recommend the chicken burger and of course the music. It is no surprise at all when I read it was named Christchurch’s best bar for the last 4 years running. What a sensational spot. Thanks all for making this such a wonderful stay.More

This was a return visit for me and if anything the bar had got better. I had a very enjoyable pint (or two) of the hand pull stout, it was the best beer I have had for some time. We ordered seafood platter and it...was delicious and fresh. I will go there again at the first opportunityMore

Came here for cocktails and wow what a selection to choose from. Great outdoor area with a live band. We will come back for food as seeing the platters around us looked incredible

We had a platter with toast, ham, chutneys, greens, generous helping of cheese, gherkins and other bits and pieces. Big enough for 2 people - platter $20.

Quaint pub with cocktail vibe a great place to while away a few hours while nibbling nice food and watching all the people. Very comfortable inside seating later in the evening. Fun but considerate service.
