We stopped here on our tour of the area but many of us found the five wines we tasted to be from bad to so-so. They started us out with a non-alcoholic wine that was terrible and then we had four other alcoholic wine tastes....None that great. Also, there was no change of glass or water to clear glass. All in all, it was probably the worse wine tasting I've ever been to.More

We stopped here to grab some lunch and for a wine tasting. The charcuterie board was delicious and plentiful and the wines were delicious (we even bought a bottle). I would highly recommend stopping in here if you're in the region!

We were here on a wine tour and lunch arranged by our very friendly organiser. We were slightly late ( and the organiser rang in advance but no one picked up so she left a message ). We were greeted by a VERY RUDE and...almost obnoxious waitress (asian lady with spooky salt and pepper hair) who had absolutely no time for us. When we finally got to order the lunch, she brought it over, literally PLONKED IT on the table and just left without telling us anything about what we were about to eat. A little while later the chef came over with lunch for our organiser and explained about the various dishes in detail. The wines were great, the platter was good but our experience was completely marred by the terrible attitude of the waitress. If I am the owner of this vineyard I would probably send her on a "how to treat your customers with respect" course as a least measure or sack her as a final measure. We have been on wine tours around the world and this is definitely an experience that we never had anywhere and hence the poor rating. The vineyard needs to remember that the customers buy the entire experience and not just wine tasting!!! and if you dont give them a good experience they will never come back again. Marlborough might be unique BUT there is a lot of competition!!!!! Just to say, we went back to cloudy bay AGAIN TODAY for lunchMore

We were hosted by a nice French guy on different red & white wines tasting. After which, we proceeded to the open courtyard for our Platter, which was good & beautifully presented. Overall a good experience & a nice place to visit.

Loved our little visit. A very friendly and informative lady looked after us. I enjoyed the reds and my husband loved the whites.

Delicious, gorgeous platter for two, in a beautiful courtyard. Fantastic stop mid-way through a day of wine tasting. Highly recommended!

We Have enjoyed visiting this restaurant and winery on several occasions in 2019 and their platters are amazing !! They are wonderful for size content and value for money - the BEST we’ve tried in NZ and other countries - without doubt ! Also their...staff members are friendly and knowledgeable ... I recommend if you want to spend a wonderful few hours sampling fine wines with friends or family ( from all ages ) over succulent food this is worthy of a visit ...More

We were part of a small tour group that stopped here for lunch and a tasting. The wines are good, but the food stole the show! An excellent meat & cheese tray, we were all happily surprised with the experience!

Giesen's Brothers wine is very good. Although I have always loved the platter at Geisen, it has been several months since we have been here and the platter is still good but now very expensive, especaily when you compare this to platters at other wineries.

With our daughter and her partner we went to Giesons for a platter lunch. Nice platter. They were able and willing to vary the platter to accommodate tastes.
