Been to a Brazilian restaurant before? No? Definitely try Gramados. The enthusiasm, knowledge and passion shown by Saulo (sp?) and clearly passed onto his staff seriously adds to the enjoyment of the dining experience. Great service and food made for a memorable evening. We were...talked through the optional chillie tasting platter which was v. helpful. The pork belly in the Poco loco was beautifully cooked and the sauce was memorable. Thoroughly recommended.More

There is a reason this is one of Blenheim’s top restaurants. The food was great, and different from the typical restaurant fare, the atmosphere was great, and the owner is real character Definitely go here if you are in Blenheim it is definitely worth it....We will be backMore

Our hosts where we stayed recommended this place.Note - book well in advance! They were brilliants. Lots of gluten free options. Great food but the customers service made everything even better. The team is personably and knowledgeable on dietary requirements. We would have gone back...a second time if we could. I cannot recommend this enoughMore

I visited this number one trip advisor rated restaurant in Picton on a Thursday & had to return 1 1/2 hours later even tho I was solo as I hadn’t booked. Having tasted the food I realised why! It was well worth the wait I’ve...never had Brazilian food before. There are more main stream options on the menu as well but I had 3 courses of barely pronounceable to me dishes but all with a very clear description on the menu. A seafood starter, the chorizo, bacon hock , rib & black bean stew with a Brazilian caramel flan to finish The staff were very friendly & welcoming and service was efficient and there are some nice touches like being introduced to the option of trying a free selection of differently heated Brazilian chillis whilst being under no pressure to accept There is a good wine list both glasses & bottles I overheard when I was leaving some people saying it would be hard to leave Gramado’s without a smile on your face & I couldn’t agree moreMore

From arrival into restaurant to leaving the atmosphere was warm friendly and inviting, despite them being extremely busy. The food was superb, we wanted to try everything! We had three starters and one main between two of us, to try and sample as much as...possible. Delicious. The chilli challenge was fun! Highly recommended.More

A warm welcome awaited us and we were shown to a candlelit table. I’m not a meat eater so the Fish Moqueca was perfect. Well cooked meaty fish with fresh veg and a coconut sauce...perfect flavours. My husband had the Lamb with an excellent Seles...of perfectly cooked veg...just al dente, and a mint jus. The sommelier was generous with offering a taste of different wines until we were happy! I can’t fault the evening nor the food. A superb experience.More

20 out of 10, not a single fault, superb service and super tasty food. We didn't have a booking but was able to sit in the bar which was fine for us. Would definitely be back but will remember to book next time so we...don't risk missing out on a great time!More

Environment, service and food all of a very high standard. Menu had good variety. Unexpected special little dessert treat at the end of our meal topped off the experience. Highly recommend, and suggest you book, they are obviously very popular and busy.

We do not promote takeaways for personal reasons. But some costumers that are staying in the Motels around Gramado's Restaurant quite often take their meals to eat in their Motel rooms. Actually we do not have takeaway... More
