Best food we have had in a long time. The sommelier was awesome and knowledgeable about the extensive wine list. We had the set menu which we loved. The waitress was lovely and the whole evening was so enjoyable. Thank you
We went there on the 25th March 2021. We selected 2 entrée share plates and 1 main plate to share, as we had eaten late lunch. Plates were extremely small, and expensive for what we got. Compared to other Restaurants we have been to with...similar share plates. This is not value for money.More
We did the $55 tasting menu and it was outstanding. The wine was a Greywacke 2013 Chardonnay that was lip-smacking good too. The staff were very lovely. Don't be put off by the very basic surroundings.
What a fabulous array of dishes we enjoyed. We chose the $55.00 Chefs choice and the food was just delicious. And surprising. A new chef's first night and man did he/she deliver! Would definitely return to this restaurant.
This was out first night in the South Island and took our accomodations recommendation. Delightful wine bar which all four of us enjoyed immensely. Wished we were staying longer as we would have returned. The menu was diverse and up to all expectations .
We had an amazing meal at Scotch Wine Bar. The staff were attentive and engaged throughout the meal. Sommelier Arthur provided a great recommendation as our choice of wine was unavailable then gave helpful advice on places to visit. The waitress had time for chats....The food was simple but elegant, nicely presented abd very tasty. Highly recommended.More
The food is just so wonderful I’m still thinking about it. I have not experienced anything this good in Marlborough in the last 3 years. The dishes are imaginative with the freshest ingredients and just beautifully cooked. The chef is to be commended for talent...and attention to detail. I can’t say enough about it. I was there with my adult son and we had the sharing plates and each dish was amazing. The service is fantastic and staff friendly. The restaurant is under new ownership so I expect that this little known gem in Blenheim will be impossible to book once word spreads. If you eat out once in Blenheim it has to be here.More
Something Different , wow, we went there for a 60th Birthday with 3 couples, we tried the $55 per head platters, all of the food was great, from the homemade bread to platters, there was food I wouldn’t normally have ordered , but I we...enjoy every dishMore
