There is nothing inherently wrong about R & S Satay Noodle House and it is a solid performer without being exceptional or unmissable.

The smells from the restaurant escaped onto the street I just had to venture inside. At first glance the tables had not been cleared and the carpeted floor had food and litter laying around. I ordered the Roti Canai Malaysian curry sauce with roti bread. I...More
This place does a broad range of Malaysian and other Asian fare. Best things we liked at our recent lunch was the wat tan hor noodles, chicken rice and wanton dry noodles. Their roti and chicken curry sauce also good. Always consistent quality with simple...More
The place is in a perfect central location on Cuba Street. Food is always great, I haven't had any dish that wasn't up to expectations, portions are generous, the service is friendly. And the value for money is unbeatable considering a main course costs only...More

This place is a favourite for me in Wellington. Good, cheap and satisfying is the best way to describe the food. More like home-cooking than 5star, but sometimes that is what you crave when you are away.
I love the pork wonton noodle soup, and s22 (with beef) staff are friendly and the food is always devine

There are many Malaysian restaurants around here, today we came when we were a bit short of time, decided to come here instead of my beloved KK Malaysia thinking it might be faster big mistake ended up waiting ages, way longer than expected, very disappointed.
We had dinner with my family here. The Malaysian taste of the dishes were authentic. The char kuey teow, chicken rice and yin yong were excellent. Certainly a must-go place for those who miss tasty Malaysian Chinese food in Wellington.
