Very busy Saturday night and had to wait a short time at the bar where we had some great cocktails. My Wellington friends did the ordering and we shared and I particularly liked the firecracker chicken sliders, spicy and delicious. Also the little dragon tacos were very tasty. And the Thai beef salad which was so good. We had lots... More

we are regular visitors. Our most recent visit we were very disappointed with the Singapore noodles and Nasi Goreng dishes. Beef Rendang and Firecracker chicken were up to Monsoon poons usual high standard.

Visited Wellington for the first time and got a tip to visit Monsoon Poon. Our group of three arrived early for dinner and got a great table for a catch up. Staff were really helpful and the menu looked great. The beer was cold the dishes looked great when delivered promptly to the table and tasted fantastic...was really value for... More

Yummy food and great service! We really enjoyed our Friday night dinner. Lamb curry and Duck Nasi Goreng were delicious.

Stopped in for an early dinner when recovering from jet lag. Service was very good. The menu had so many options that appealed. I chose the duck salad which was superb as was the eggplant side dish. Good choice of beer and wine. Very happy evening.

A group of us went to Monsoon Poon recently and took the banquet menu (There are three; we went for the $39 one.) This gave us a carrot and cumin dip and some starters like fried squid and spicy chicken wings (plus some tasteless pakhora and sliced Vietnamese summer rolls). Standard stuff and tasty when done well. These offering were... More

Good food as always. Have enjoyed every meal here except for the lamb curry (No flavour do not recommend). Favourite is the salmon. Staff and atmosphere are more than lovely. Though, not as good as the Auckland location.. Found the food to be a bit better in Auckland.

This place was buzzing. Had to wait a short while for a table (as you cant book for small numbers), but that was fine as we had cocktails in the bar (made really well). The dishes that came out were lovely. We had a few starters (little dragon tacos, malai chicken and prawns) all very good and then for the... More
