Location and contact

Basque is based on the eating and drinking style of Northern Spain with its streets of bustling tapas bars. We offer an array of non-veg, vegetarian, gluten free and some vegan on request mouthwatering tapas and homemade pizzas, which are designed to complement the range of 12 craft tap beers and ciders, (and another five taps on the rooftop bar), imported Spanish and local wines and our extensive sangria menu. Grab a carafe of sangria, plonk on the rooftop, and watch Courtenay Place pass by beneath you.

My husband and I visited Basque for the first time on a dreary, wet winter Wednesday night. The outside courtyard was nicely enclosed, and will make a fantastic area in the summer with its own access to the bar. Inside the dining/bar area is well...More

Came in on a Friday night - I think it was their 2nd or 3rd day being open. That in mind, I was a bit lenient on them in terms of it taking about 45 minutes to get the food out. A group of 6...More

We had high hopes for Basque, being fans of Spanish food, tapas, and paella in particular, so popped in on a Saturday night to sample the paella for two, and a little sangria. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived and we found a table...More

We had a grabone voucher for pintxos and drinks but if we didn't we would have walked out before we walked in. It is the worst smokers area I have seen since the new laws came into effect and wondered how it was legal -...More
