We have an amazing night here, the atmosphere is great and the staff really attentive to all the patrons. It’s is a great restaurant to go to, the food was amazing, We all had the popcorn chicken,Korean butter broccoli, red duck curry, wakanui beef short...rib and stick pork belly with rice on the side. Accompanied by dragonfly gin and a lovely red. Absolutely fantastic meal & awesome staff, totally recommend this restaurant to go to.More

We went here on a girls weekend in Wellington and had the most amazing meal and experience. Food was beautiful, highly recommend the massaman curry rolls, duck curry, and lemongrass chicken salad as highlights but everything was so delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were...great and the restaurant is so cool with amazing interior and a great vibe. We were all super impressed and think it was the best meal of our whole weekend!More

The service - AWESOME The taste of food - AWESOME. Atmosphere - AWESOME Only let down was the limited choices of food on the menu, would love to see abit more variety.

Service - great, food choices - good, quality of food - average at best. The salads look like something from a New World deli counter. The pork belly was dry but covered in chili sauce to mask this.

We showed up on a busy Thursday without a booking and the friendly hostess was able to fit us in the bar area which was actually really nice. We had the tonka bean cocktails which were perfectly balanced and served quickly. We ordered a few...small plates (which came quickly) and then the beef with a side of broccoli. Unfortunately the broccoli came about 10 minutes before the beef and was almost raw. I understand it’s sharing style but it was quite random to serve a broccoli side on its own half way between the small and large plates. Our waitress was not personable at all and we probably would of stayed longer if we were able to grab her attention for more drinks. The food was nice especially the tuna but the portions and service were not so great for the price you pay.More

Has been my favourite for many years but alas new menu underwhelming and not very flavourful .We shared many dishes and we agreed it has lost its culinary edge

My previous experiences at Dragonfly restaurant several years ago were great but my most recent dining experience was disappointing. Firstly the cocktail I ordered was pretty horrible and tasted like medicine. How can you ruin a cocktail? Secondly our friends were vegetarian but there was...little on the menu they could eat. The menu is focused on meat, and yet many people now are vegetarian or vegan. The food when it came was average, considering the prices. Where we were sitting was noisy and we had trouble hearing ourselves. Finally the staff were okay, but a little inattentive. It was hard to get their attention.More
