The staff was friendly and welcoming. They explained everything fully and clearly. The entrees served were as described. The food was fresh and good. We were not rushed, and were treated with respect and kindness.

We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant and would highly recommend. We planned to go there to have pizza but ended up with me having seafood spaghetti and my wife having the gnocchi as these looked good on the menu. I have to say...that both meals were really delicious. We are from England and have been to Italy many times and I can say that this Italian food was excellentMore
Fratelli was a few minutes around the corner from the QT hotel where we were staying. When we arrived at 7pm is was practically full - always a good sign. We started with the bruschetta with white anchovies and some warm olives and moved on...to a very good pork shoulder ragu with pappardelle and mushroom risotto (slightly annoyingly it was the same price as the risotto with venison, turned vegetarian). We had some very nice Salice and Porter Pinot noir with it. Service was good. Would happily return.More
Four of us booked a table at Fratelli’s tonight after not being able to make a booking the night before. It is quite a small restaurant, so I can see why you need to book in advance. We have found the restaurant food inNZ to...be quite tasteless and overpriced, but this place had great meals that were flavourful and nice and hot. The menu is quite small, so check it before booking to make sure there is something you like. We had the seafood pasta, fish of the day and a pork pasta. They were all great. The staff were also friendly. You can choose a number of wines, cocktails, beers and soft drinks. Definitely recommend this place.More
Great pizza!! I am Italian and it’s always difficult to find a good pizza on the other side of the world, but this one is definitely good! Good service.
Looked up best pizza in Welly and Fratelli came up. The reviews are not wrong. The pizza IS very good, particularly if you like a nice soft crust with just a touch of wood-fire char. Of course great fame means great crowds and sure enough,...when four of us rocked up just after 5:30 opening, it was already full. However they very nicely offered to accommodate us at the bar and the service was attentive and friendly every step of the way. It’s definitely not a budget option but you get great food and an experience that’s a cut above. Highly recommended. I’m pretty tough with my stars and I’d say they’re a 4.5More
All our food was delicious. Even though there was no dedicated kids menu they were willing to do simple dishes for our young kids (3 and 5).
Visited with a friend, great having a place open on a Tuesday night. A great find, excellent range of genuine Italian food, really good wine list which created a lovely setting on a cold night to meet and catch up with friends. Special mention too...for our Italian waiter who came from the region of some of the wines, great service, friendly, genuineMore
Best pizza we have had in a long time! amazing bruschetta and Tiramisu for dessert Lovely staff and great vibe - will Recommended!
Outstanding food and service. We walked in off the street and were lucky enough to get a table for two. After a lovely drink at the bar, we sat for the best Italian food, experience and evening we have had. With Italian wine we shared...starters of bruschetta & olives. My main was a gnocchi and it was incredible. He had the parpedelle and loved it. Then came the affogatos for dessert. The service really was attentive and friendly. We will be back when next in the capital.More
Quick and efficient service with such friendliness. The food and drinks were superb. Choice of gluten free base for pizza was great. The mozzarella balls were perfect and the lemoncello devine
We had a lovely evening meal here having managed to get a last minute booking. The service was good and the food was very tasty. The menu offers lots of choice. The portions were large so we only managed a starter between us and a...main eachMore

We ate here last evening and honestly the food was amazing! We shared multiple dishes and everyone of them was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful.
