Came here after a disappointing meal at Coene's the night before and were delighted we did. Interesting menu and the food was freshly prepared and delicious. Also the lack of available booking times and busyness of the restaurant testified to it's general popularity.

Nice decor, friendly & helpful staff. The waitress suggested a white wine which I liked very much. We had two different types of pasta which were good. Their tiramisu was just sugar & cream and was a big disappointment. I cannot taste any coffee nor...Marsala in it.More

Great starters, great attentive wait staff and quite possibly the best drink selection with apertifs, beer, cocktails, wine (Italian and NZ) digestifs and dessert wine. Food is amazing. If I knew this was here, I would of had this place 3 nights in a row....Happily would come againMore

Fratelli is a classic Italian restaurant, from the slightly worn wooden furniture to the old pictures on the wall. The menu has pasta, pizza and the like. We both ordered pasta dishes and really enjoyed them, they were full of flavour and satisfying. The staff...were friendly and helpful. They were very patient with me as I dithered over which Italian wine to choose from their extensive menu. I was happy with their recommendation. I would visit again on my next trip to Wellington.More

We ordered some pizza as takeaway, everything from the phone call to the taste of the pizza was great! The wood fired pizza had enough toppings and the dough was thin and crispy just how you want your wood fired to be.

I visiting Wellington on business so was dinning alone. The staff were fantastic and the food delicious. I opted for for a medium rare steak with goose fat potato’s. Both were cooked perfectly and had so much flavour. To accompany, I chose a beautiful Italian...chianti wine. I followed the main with some very tasty miniature do-noughts and a wee lemoncello. I was so taken with the food; on my third night I ordered the meatballs to be delivered to my hotel and again I was not disappointed. Absolutely delicious. So much flavour.More

This was a perfect place to spend the evening with a small group of friends- busy but not too noisy, delicious food, plenty of time to linger and chat as never felt we were being rushed, and friendly staff. A more interesting and extensive cocktail...menu would be nice.More

We dined here on a busy Friday night after a mix up, by me, over our booking time! Fortunately we were able to be accommodated. The food was delicious, especially the spaghetti de mare. The service was impeccable. Thank you for making our experience so...enjoyable.More
