Had lunch here and shared a platter between 2. More than enough and good value. Nice friendly staff and a great little spot to hang out and chill whether on beanbags and mats on the grass by the water or tables in the shade

Nothing special. Eggs came just a little warm. Asked for a slice of bread with that and they charged me extra 3 Nzd for that and it never came in the end. The only good thing was the view onto town.More

Stopped here during our walk along the waterfront. Loved the food and view. We got the small bites platter and it was more than enough for the two of us. My husband saw a few plates of ribs coming out and said they looked great....More

We stumbled across Karaka and were instantly drawn in by the number of people already being served and the neat waterfront location. We had no expectations and were all very unfamiliar with Maori cuisine, but we were absolutely blown away by everything. There was welcoming...More

Beautiful setting on the waterfront in a Māori cultural architecturally designed building. Inside the contemporary art work compliments the ethos of the restaurant to provide food that is influenced by traditional Māori food.
