This informal setting has a cheap and cheerful vibe with authentic food. We had the shared plates which were generous servings for 2.

Found this wonderful restaurant through WOAP. The humble appearance of a bowling club doesn’t prepare you for the amazing food, atmosphere and service that they provide. Wasn’t sure what to expect but fell in love with every dish. Will happily recommend to friends and family.

What a great find! Unexpectedly tucked away in the heights of Brooklyn,l (part of the bowling club actually!), this family run establishment is a real little gem. We had the meat platter and a spinach and feta flat bread. All delicious and the whole thing...can be done gluten free. The different components were all exquisite and a little different to other flavours you may have tried before. The rosewater creme brulee was to die for and the prices are very reasonable. BYO too! (Which we wish we had known before we arrived.) We'll be back! It was busy though! Make sure you book.More

We live locally and come to Damascus every couple of weeks for an easy, delicious and friendly dinner (or lunch on the weekend). The food is sublime and Hasan and his team are so genuinely welcoming. The whole complex is such an asset to the...community, but the cafe alone would be worth travelling for. The menu is great for both vegans and omnivores so it's a good place to visit if you have a group with dietary restrictions.More

Hidden in an usual place, this eatery is so authentic Syrian food. Amazing variety of tasty food and coffee, brilliant desserts and smily jolly customer service! I will follow them on Sunday truck food market too.

Love this place! Awesome food and the owners etc are great too! We have had the pizzas (delicious), and the vegan plate which is soo good with hummus, baba ganoush, cauliflower and felafel etc. the bread is delicious too perfectly light. I really recommend their...desserts also especially the maamoul cookies if they have those -they're a shortbread filled with a date and cinnamon paste. Such a cool atmosphere there, would be great for kids too. Feel so lucky to have this place in our neighbourhood! All reasonably priced too. Thanks for the awesome food Damascus :)More

I can’t believe I have not discovered this eatery before now. This Syrian hideaway is such a gem. The food is really really really delicious. We asked the chef to bring us a variety of vegetarian and meat. We had the most delectable hummus I...have ever tasted, so silky and smooth. The smokey eggplant dip was soooo smokey. The falafel were truly the tastiest I have ever had. And not to mention the bread but it was puffy and light and great for scooping up the remains of all of the lovely dips. Oh and the Syrian lamb sausage went down a treat with the meatos! The restaurant is in the old Vogelmorn Bowling club and is akin to dining at home with comfy couches and chairs to sit around or small intimate tables. I really recommend this place if you are looking for an authentic Syrian meal. They are open from 12 noon to 8pm, Thursday to Saturday. It is very child friendly with lots of kiddy bikes and a trampoline too. I think my next visit will be with the grand kids.More
