Warm ambience, welcoming and friendly staff, incredible dishes at reasonable prices for the quality, authentically Cambodian - couldn’t ask for more!

I really enjoyed dining here for my birthday 🥳 everything was very delicious and fresh. But sadly the lamb cutlets are no longer on the menu and beef curry we use to have was not the same anymore or it might have been taken off...the menu too. Over all it is still good and staff were friendly 😊More
Lovely restaurant with a nice evening ambience, I enjoyed a relaxed birthday dinner with two special family members. The service was efficient and friendly. We started with cocktails which were great, then a number of shared entrees and 3 shared mains. We were too full...for dessert. The food was tasty and fresh. Recommended for Cambodian cuisine, something a bit different.More
Absolutely love Siam Reap.. beautifully decorated, authentic Cambodian food.. Highly recommend the Mee Goreng.. service was outstanding.. Our Waitress “Chan”, provided excellent service, friendly & very good customer skills. So lovely to see a young girl with excellent customer service.. Always with a lovely smile.....thank you Chan!More
Popped in for an early dinner. We walked from our hotel on The Terrace which was an easy walk. Just as well, as there's little parking in the area. We found the menu covered all the things we like with Cambodian food. The cocktails were...the standard ones you find but they were presented well and tasted good. The food servings are large and presented well and full of flavour. They were served in good time. We thought they were well priced for what you received. Highly recommend the Ban Chow. One improvement would be to raise the level of lighting. We sat in the lower level and needed to use our camera torches to read the menu. This is something we'd normally not need to do, Apart from that, the overall experience was very good. When next in Wellington, we will eat here again.More
We dined in September 2022 and were very disappointed. This was not the great food we were used to being served here. it was tasteless. I found out a week later the restaurant had new owners which explains it I guess.
The food here was absolutely delicious. We called in on a busy Wednesday night but they found a table for us. Service was very pleasant and quick and as mentioned the food was delicious particularly the beef saraman.
We went with a group of 7 family members and had a great experience and meal. We were quickly served with drinks and were then asked if we were ready for the shared entree that I had preordered. WOW, superb food, best spring rolls and...2 kinds of dumplings were so enjoyed by our group including 2 children. They then served us 5 main dishes and rice that I had preorderMore
Amazing food and great service. We booked online but when we got there they didn’t have our booking written down. They fitted us in with no problems even though it was busy. The food was delicious. Definitely recommend!
Food was really really good and delicious. But the service was appalling. The waiter (taller of the two on duty tonight 2/3/22) was non-engaging to the point of being rude. He did the barest minimum for us, didn't even open the wine bottle, didn't check...that all was OK, didn't come to take away our dishes. We had to call the other (much nicer) waiter to get me my doggie bag and to indicate that we were finished. If I arrived there to find him on duty I swear I would walk out. Such a pity as it's a great restaurant.More
We were warmly welcomed and received excellent service and yummy dishes from the team at Siem Reap. We could not fault a thing. We definitely recommend the shared platter - which allowed us to sample a bit of everything.
The front of house staff were very friendly and accommodating. I got the stir fried king prawn dish and asked for it spicy. The prawns were really nicely cooked, good portion. Just found it too oily and sweet/syrupy. Needed more freshness and spicyness, some acidity...too. I would go back as the value was quite good and my friends seem to enjoy their meals, which included a nhorm salad and green curry. Next time i'd like to try the nhorm salad or salmon.More
The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Restaurant had a nice ambience and friendly, efficient service. Clean toilets. Would definitely recommend.
What was once a great restaurant with fabulous authentic Cambodian food is now a shadow of its former self. The meals were poorly executed, the fish was less than fresh (as soon as it was placed on the table the smell wafted across the whole...restaurant), the peanut sauce had little or no peanuts in it (it was mostly coconut cream) and most of the dishes served to our large party were lacking in flavour or the main protein advertised. There was a complete lack of the fresh, vibrant flavors of Cambodian food. Staffing levels were completely inadequate for the number of people in the restaurant and service was slow. The young lady who took our orders was the only person who did a great job, managing a large group with skill and repeating back our orders to ensure she had gotten everything correct. The staff failed to check our meals were up to standard and wait times for food and drink for our party were simply ridiculous. This is despite the restaurant being almost empty. I had been told and was expecting some delays due to the size of our party (12 people) but service was of a poor standard. Wait staff were bringing out mains when the table still hadn't been cleared of the starter plates. We had to ask to have them removed so that the mains could be put down. No one was checking our table to see if we needed anything nor did anyone check to see if drinks were required. There simply was no attention to detail and it was obvious that the wait staff were untrained. All of this could be excused if the food was fabulous and the pricing was reasonable. It was not. Having frequented Siem Reap since it's inception I was truly disappointed to see whats its become. Double the prices for half the quality. I won't be crossing their door again.More
Siem Reap make consistently fantastic food. It’s a beautiful space, location is great and every time I’ve been, every guest goes on about how great their meals are. Last night though was just next level, it was my first time dining out with a plethora...of food allergies (soy, dairy and very recently diagnosed gluten- it’s a mess) we also had a vegan and 2 coeliacs at our table (allergies run in the family) and the server went out of her way to talk to the kitchen, came back with a list of things that could be done for me. I’ve been served by this gal before and she is just so lovely, nothing is too much trouble (even though behind the scenes we’re almost definitely a real pain in the ass). Just so she gets credit- she’s blonde and I’m almost certain she used to work at Aro Cafe. My family is a bit challenging- majority of them have never worked hospitality- and she was just so kind. It’s just really nice to go out and not come home feeling sick. Thank you! We will be back! And I won’t have to get the list made again!More
