From the pre dinner cocktails, to the food and the service everything was excellent. The service was a nice balance of friendliness but not too much. The food was fabulous with some great modern twists on some classics. I would definitely go back.

We originally booked the 7 course Saturday degustation menu but due to changed travel had to eat earlier on the bistro fixed Early bird meal at $50NZ. Overall we are glad that we didn’t have the 7 course extravaganza as the staff and food would...More

We were taken here for dinner last night as a surprise by friends. It had been many years since we had been here for dinner. What can I say there was not one part of the evening that I could fault. The staff were friendly,...More

We had the tasting menu and matching wine flight here recently and were underwhelmed. There was something not quite right about any of the dishes. The tartare to start lacked something citrus to complement the fish. The crisps were pointless. The puau ravioli needed something...More

The building and the ambiance are very special, however the staff were very mechanical and the menu not very inspiring at all. We felt there was an element of trading on the reputation of what Logan Brown used to be like, and what was delivered...More

Logan Brown appears to be in an old bank building on Cuba street. The service was wonderful, the food fantastic. It is a great restaurant in a city of good eats.

The five course chef's tasting menu was amazing. The wine pairings were perfect, and teamed up with the food wonderfully. The paua ravioli were plate-licking good (we seriously considered it) and the dessert was fresh and light and ended the meal nicely. It is a...More

A great setting, and the food was mostly good, but the service level was poor to the point of laughable. A group of 10, we were given a bistro set menu, and had to work pretty hard to get a la carte menu instead, as...More

Food is outstanding. We had the Paua ravioli the local special. Also wonderful venison and steak. The taste of Logan brown dessert was very good. Great wine and not at excessive prices. Highly recommended. Just go.

Degustation often means that you are sampling smaller portions of the chef's art rather than the chef suggesting a full portion of one of his creations.
