Ok so it’s not cheap but well worth the money - we did have a couple of hiccups but they were sorted out quickly and efficiently which we appreciated - there was another large table in the restaurant which had an extremely loud individual on...there that was beyond acceptable but someone must have complained because they were asked to lower it down and the message was delivered/taken well which made it more enjoyable for the other dinners - the staff were super welcoming, happy and made our evening enjoyable, they were attentive “Well Done lovely staff” - ALL the food was amazing, there was absolutely nothing but the best, excellent “Well Done Chefs” we would highly recommend this restaurant 100%. Loved it - Loved it - Loved it….More

We went to noble rot as we were searching for a tasting menu in Wellington as a treat. It was great, we enjoyed the six course meal with the wine pairing for each course. We got drunk and ate lots of lovely food, it was...great. We will be back. Thank you for a superb eveningMore

We had a wine pairing. this was extremely expense and you literally got a thimble of wine in your glass. the food was average and took a long time to come to the table. Will not be returning.

We had a great anniversary dinner, with the best food and great service. One of the few places you can trust the Sommelier to pick your wine for you. Stunning wine selection.

Overall we really enjoyed our meal here, beautifully presented and extremely fresh and tasty. We had intended to eat off the a la carte menu and ordered a cheese plate and oysters on arrival with a couple of cocktails. Oysters were very fresh and the...cheese plate was outstanding. Because we were eating a la carte, we ordered a bottle of Pinot based on the recommendation of the waitress (this was outstanding). However once we had a chat to the waitress about the menu we decided to go with the 6 course degustation menu. All the meals were outstanding. On reflection though with 6 courses a bottle of red didn’t go very far and we would have been far better to go with the wine match especially with the attentive waitstaff the wine was gone in 3 courses. Which meant that we ordered a second bottle on the recommendation of the sommelier. This was quite an expensive bottle ($155) and I didn’t enjoy it at all. Heading towards the deserts it was too heavy and I mentioned I didn’t like it and the response was “oh dear, thanks for the feedback”. I was surprised that given how much we’d spent, (over $600) I wasn’t offered a glass of something else. In summary, nice venue, great food, good service but quite expensive especially if you don’t have a wine match,More

Fish bones in the fish of the day. Skimpy portions of steak instead of a normal eye fillet steak. Flat coke in a bourbon and coke. Plain vegetables with the mains. Overall average food for the price.

we stopped by Noble Rot for a wee snack and drink and loved the atmosphere and service. Sarai was simply the best, great service and most importantly made the best Dirty Gin Martini i have ever had. Awesome!

Amazing experience. Table service includes both a waiter with intimate knowledge of the menu and a sommelier who is not only able to ensure the wine matches not only match the food but also your palate, and could answer any question thrown at him Food...and drink both were delightful Ambiance is excellent Would be back in a heartbeat if I lived locallyMore
