Came down to Tauranga for a few days for Bay dreams and during the trip went to the Central Deli. Lovely cafe, staff are kind, food is delicious and suitable for a range of different dietary preferences. Next time I’m in Tauranga I’ll definitely come...again!More

Food has something for everyone, yummy sweet treats, raw selection, salads and then the classic favourites. Great coffee and nice space out the back for kids to play too
My sister and I went there for a wee sweet treat and the service was absolutely amazing, they were out of almond croissants but the lady made us some fresh ones and they didn’t disappoint ! Plus they had oat milk which was delish with...a long black :)More
I love the bacon and egg croissant 🥐 it’s delicious, egg pies too. Best chi latte ever! The service is awesome, really nice ladies in there.
I have been a customer of central deli for just under a year and have had an awesome experience! The lovely whanau who run central deli are a pleasure to speak to and really care about their customers. The food is always amazing and there...is something for everyone. These guys make the best coffee in Mount Maunganui as well. Always greeted with friendly staff, special mention to Katherine who is awesome. I've long been a fan of Central Deli - the food is fab and the people are super friendly. Recently I needed to cater for a business meeting for 12 people and Central Deli totally came to the party - catering for dietary requirements, adjusting...the menu on request, great value in terms of pricing, really delicious food that got loads of good comments plus I could use their plates and return them the next day so no nasty packaging in sight. Awesome service, highly recommended.More

Great place to meet with family, kids treats to. Food selection very impressive. Bit noisy in serving area but lovely ‘outdoor’ feel space out the back. Great coffee and such lovely ladies serving.
Popped in for a bite back in December when I was in town visiting family, our waitress Kathryn was so lovely, and my pie was very tasty! Bit of a shame about management though, anyone could see the kitchen was a very hostile environment. And...staff seemed to be under a lot of pressure which seemed to be caused by management intervening - let them do the jobs you hired them to do team!More
