Went as a group and some of us forgot their masks and they provided the mask. High chair was already provided for the baby in the group. Both service and the food were great. We ordered their Emperor's Banquet and the food kept coming throughout...the night. It was fresh and delicious. The Pork Belly was the best and especially liked the wok tossed greens. The night was very enjoyable.More

This was our second visit to Macau recently with friends on a a fairly busy week night. We ordered a variety of dishes that we could share amongst us which were very tasty and just the right amount for us to share, we have no...complaints about the food. The service was another matter. We had the feeling a couple of the waiters may have been new or in training, particularly the one designated for our table but that’s no excuse for a restaurant of this calibre. The drinks, cutlery and food were all passed over and in front of us to other guests rather than the waiter going behind when there was plenty of room to do so. After clearing away the bowls and plates, the waiter then used a wet cloth to wipe the table down, we all had to lean back out of his way when he did this. But the worst was yet to come. We all ordered dessert - one dessert that we ordered came out and placed on the table. While we waited for the others to arrive another waiter came and picked up the dessert in front of us, said nothing and took it to another table not far from where we were sitting. There were two or three waiters talking and looking obviously realising the orders were mixed up. This was unacceptable, our guest could have touched the dessert, was certainly talking to others at the table with his dessert in front of him. If the guests at the other table saw what had happened I’m sure they would not have accepted it, particularly with covid being a major safety and cleanliness issue. Our order was correct, it should have been left there and another dessert from the kitchen taken to the other table. It was a pity that the poor service spoilt an otherwise nice evening.More

One of our local favorites, the staff a professional, the menu delightful, in the many times we have visited this place we have never once been disappointed. The beef cheek curry is a show stopper, along with their Tempura eggplant. Highly recommend.

We took friends here who hadn’t been before. We decided on the banquet and we’re not disappointed. We loved all the various dishes and was a great way for them to try multiple dishes. atmosphere and the staff were great. Awesome experience had by all.

My colleague and I dined here last night. While the service was well paced and food very tasty, there was no love in this restaurant. Service most definitely didn’t come with a smile. My colleague ordered the Makhani Chicken curry which needed a separate order...for rice and naan bread. I ordered the Grilled Salmon wrapped in banana leaf which came with Thai rice. When I questioned the waitress about my lack of rice, she said it would be under the salad. After looking I still couldn’t see it so she went to take it back to the kitchen but was waylaid by the manager who told her where to look for it. She came back with my dish and showed me the few grains stuck to one side of the salmon. There wasn’t even enough rice for a desert spoon full. There was no apology and I was made to feel in the wrong for asking for something that was on the menu but could hardly be seen yet alone taste. Sadly I didn’t take a photo. More sadly for Macau you have lost two customers!More

This place is fantastic. The food is incredible and the service wonderful. Something for everyone. Share plates are great but the main meals are too. Defo check it out. On the pricier side but worth it.

Great menu, lots of variety. Food cooked to a high standard - lip smackingly good. Prompt, but not hurried, service. The staff were lovely, very accommodating and friendly. Love the decor and layout as well - the booths lend real intimacy and privacy to the...experience.More

Went here for dinner last week. Very nice place, wonderful service with trained staff from the time we arrived to the table and leaving Macau Restaurant. Delicious food, very nicely presented too. We were not very keen on the tempura eggplant mentioned in other reviews....They were mushy and quite tasteless inside but with a nice and crunchy tempura batter outside drizzled with a very sweet sauce. It almost tasted like deep fried banana with honey. All the other food was delicious. Highlight was the Ginger Prawn Dumplings, delish! Would recommend to book a table, the place gets quite busy.More
