We eat here for the whole three nights stay in Tauranga. The menu or menus give you a wide variety to choose from, i.e. pizza, pasta, seafood, burgers & lots more. We had a pizza & pasta dish the first night. Both ordered fish the...second night. I had it without batter on mashed potato. Hubby stuck to the traditional fish & chips. On the last night enjoyed scallops cooked to perfection while I watched hubby devour the lamb shank. He also enjoyed the ice-cream sundae on the three occasions. Amy was outstanding with her customer skills making us feel very welcome.More

In November, I rated this restaurant 5 stars. Of course we went back and placed our order, only to find that if we shared a main we'd be charged an additional $5. Even though we ordered 2 x entrees and 2 x desserts as well....Will we go back now? No, we've since found new favorite restaurants, where they don't charge for sharing a main.More

Ordered a Pina Colada $15 & got a pineapple slushy. Could not taste Rum or cream & way too much ice with barely enough pineapple. Should have been better. Shame as it was GF birthday & place looks nice. Cannot comment on food.

We popped in for a light bite. I wasn’t very hungry and just wanted to share a meal with my partner. This comes with a $5 surcharge. Also they must have had a problem with people not paying as I had to give my card...to the waitress for her to hold on to til the end of our meal. Food was average.More

This is the second time we have been here for lunch and it is decidedly average, my first lunch was chicken salad that consisted of chicken/lettuce/onion!! Todays lunch was sweetcorn fritters and salad, once again the salad was lettuce/tomato/onion/cucumber as for the fritters they were...stodgy and had way to much salt in them, with the amount of food left on the plate you would of thought the waitress would of asked if everything was ok but she was pretty young and inexperienced. Strike two your out we certainly won't be coming back!!More

The food. The food! Never before have I seen around 20 staff working in such great harmony and with efficiency to produce such delicious food - both in taste and presentation. If there is an award for this, The Orchard would surely place tops. Dynamic...atmosphere, where the heartbeat of this restaurant shines through. This is reflected in the caliber of the clientele and yet the prices are reasonable. Will we go again. Absolutely. The pork belly and scotch fillet were excellent.More

Fantastic menu. Bit pricy, but certainly value for money. Good service, good food (above average). Lovely outside setting, great for summer lunches!
