So love this place. Best service and good food. My partner says his meal was average but mine was superb. I recommend this place summer and winter as I have visited in all weathers and times of year

This is turning out to be one of my regular favourite eating places. The service is always friendly. The food is exactly how it reads on the menu and always tasty. In winter they have the fire going. In summer take a table outside under the umbrellas (if you can get one) and enjoy the view. Watch the boats coming... More

The food was really really good. I am extremely fussy when it comes to food and this was a brilliant menu with plenty of options. It's good food cooked really well. Tasty, filling and not too expensive. Thai red curry - a must to try! Been two days in a row for lunch. Chairs are comfy! Relaxed and friendly atmosphere.... More

As usual I looked for pork belly and certainly wasn't disappointed and preceded that with the green lip mussels which were just delicious. You just cant beat the outlook although it was a little uncomfortable looking straight into the sun.

The service here is amazing. Friendly welcome on a cold evening and good conversation including a recommendation about wines available. The food service was helpful and not intrusive over our conversation. Loved the food. all round an excellent night out for four people at a reasonable price.

Good ambience, great food and service. The chef had no issues preparing food for my companion's limited diet, and the food and service were great. Obviously a place where locals frequent as the staff greeted customers like old friends. Have dined here twice and both times very good. Recommended!

One of our party ordered the green lipped mussels. They were stone cold. Two ordered ribs and both rated them 5/10 (chewy and fatty). I had the scotch fillet and while the steak was okay (over cooked), it was served on a pile of stone cold, lumpy mashed potato, with a side of even colder and undercooked carrots/beans. We had... We had a large group dinner here. There is plenty of free parking. If you going on a cold night I wouldn't sit by the fire as it was very hot and became uncomfortable after awhile. I had the Lamb which was slightly over but not bad and my lady had a chicken dish which was average. The staff are... More

I must start by saying that this is the first negative review I have ever written. I always choose to review places where I've been wowed by the experience. All I wish to say is that our meal has become memorable for the wrong reasons. Both our meals were virtually inedible and this was not what I expected for the... More

The staff were more than welcoming, it was a fine (but somewhat cool) day, so we wanted to take advantage of the sun and sit outside, they said if it got cold, we could just move back inside - no problem. The menu and wine list were both very good, the quality and timing of the food was spot on... More
