Had a group booking in the private dining room from the main restaurant for a 60th birthday party , attended by mostly family members (seats 14 max.) Pity the day wasn't up to the great views across the the marina, harbour with kaimai ranges in backround , not that that mattered to me to much - my seat had my back... More

My wife & I went here for dinner and were very impressed with the quality of the meals. We had the lamb rack and chicken supreme. Portion sizes were generous and at acceptable prices. An enjoyable experience. Would go back again.

A group of 8 of us went there for a business lunch on asking what the fish of the day was we were advised they didn't have any, it hadn't arrived. The crispy duck was popular amongst the group however the duck wasn't crispy & parts of it were undercooked. The remaining dishes ordered weren't up to much either. The... More

Huge meals but not great quality. We didn't go to what is promoted as semi fine dinning to get massive average meals on mash and no salad or green vegetables. The service was slow and the waitress showed little interest. When the meals came out we were asked who is eating what! Expensive given the lack of quality and average... More

It was a perfect summer’s day for a birthday lunch and our booked table had a good view over the marina. The restaurant has a busy feeling with the tables semi-divided off – an unusual design. The seating is comfortable and the tables are set with nice glassware and white napkins – all very pleasant. The feature of the menu... More

Overlooking the marina I couldn't go past the seafood platter as I perused the menu. Mussels Scallops prawns. Oysters. Salmon. Balmain bugs and lobster. A perfect size for one and washed down with some lovely craft ale as well. Prices were pretty reasonable and selection is good. Obviously the new manager is working some magic as I saw nothing reflected... More

Dined for lunch 31 August. Food and service were good. But nothing spectacular. Lovely decor, top spot to check out boats in the marina. I thought the food was a bit pricey for what we had.

Whether it's sitting outside in the sun with a seafood chowder and a craft beer, or inside by the fire on a cold evening with a pork belly and a glass of pinot, this is fast becoming one of our favourite places to eat. The staff are friendly, polite and the service is always brilliant.

Great that the new management have it right this time! The greeting we received in the bar, just on the closing of happy hour was very enthusiastic and friendly and even though happy hour was technically finished we received our drinks at these cheaper prices. Had a very friendly and efficient waiter with good knowledge of the dishes on the... More
