I can only say I was stunned by the number of flies buzzing around in the food cabinet - there were at least 6 landing on the food. We had intended to have lunch here but because of this awful lack of hygiene we had...a coffee and moved on. We have enjoyed the coffee and food at this cafe on many occasions but not to sure about coming back.More

Best, creamiest coffee in the bay. Lunched there today with my partner, and not for the first time. Ordered bacon eggs benedict and french toast. The latter was exquisite, to die for. Thoroughly enjoyed. Couldn't say the same for the eggs bene. Eggs were fine...and runny, but where was the hollandaise sauce? More than a teaspoon full would have been nice, and the base and the greens were sadly lacking. Disappointing! To top that off, my partner then ordered a slice of delicious looking carrot cake with yoghurt. The carrot cake duly arrived, after being run around the cafe, and was dumped on the table in front of us. It tasted mostly of baking soda, and was quite dry, and the yoghurt, when it arrived, was warm and runny. Very disappointing guys! The most dis-organised I have seen it ever.More

Without a doubt my favourite spot for a coffee in Bethlehem. I visit at least a couple of times a week. Lovely food on offer too, but best of all is the awesome friendly owner and staff. Even though I don’t have much of a...sweet tooth I’m a bit of a sucker for the salted caramel and white chocolate slice (gluten free, not that you’d notice). Nice setting in the garden centre and heaps of parking.More

Usual pleasant atmosphere but we were very taken aback by the size of my meal given the price. $20 for two small rosti, half a tomato, a few wilted spinach leaves and chunks of mushroom, topped by one egg. We eat lunch out several times...a week and this meal (and my husband's overpriced and average-tasting filo) just did not come up to scratch price wise or flavour wise.More

Enjoyed the good coffee and excellent savoury scones at Palmers garden centre. Plenty of outdoor seating. Pleasant staff. Only slight complaint was the slow service on the coffee.

Nice cafe, good indoor and outdoor area, however often have birds flying around. Blackboard menu for breakfast and lunch is pretty extensive, together with cabinet food and cakes. Great options for brunch, and very good sized portions, food very tasty. Only gripe is that everything...seems to come with ciabatta bread, which, when toasted is rock-hard. Not easy on the old teeth! Suggestion may be to offer regular bread as an option.More

Some staff could have better PR skills and be more accomodating. The food portions are too big for a light lunch but quite tasty.

As good as it gets in Bethlehem. Interesting and reasonably priced all day menu, friendly staff. Food well cooked and presented, quality coffee. All-round great experience with a Salmon Eggs Benny, the best in quantity and taste that I have had (and I have eaten...a few).More

Excellent and varied menu at reasonable prices. Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff, great coffee and obviously to us a terrific chef. Overall a must if you are in the Bethlehem area.
