I'm a huge burger fan and have had them from all over the country, these guys have the best southern fried chicken burger I have ever had! I went for the double honey mustard option! Definitely recommended!

Simple straightforward excellent smash burger. Good sized patty, great cheese and toppings. This will be a must-do stop in all our future Taupo visits.

We made an impromptu visit to Pauly's after a walk round Taupo being drawn by the smell of something delicious while looking for lunch. The service at Pauly's was excellent and we were treated to some freshly made wonderful burgers and one of the delicious...baskets of chicken. We could tell the team knew what they doing and the results were some of the best burgers we'd had for a long while (and we eat a lot of burgers!). Great fries and some great sauce options.More

Friendly owners in a hygienic mainly takeaway restaurant with basic bench seating to eat there. We had wonderful Chicken and fries.

This place does the BEST burgers ever. It always exceeds expectations with generous sized burgers and just what you want from a diner of this sort. Friendly workers made us feel very welcome. Great value grub too. Give it a try!

The burger is a dream, the kimchi loaded fries are sensational. I’ll come back to Taupo merely to eat here more. Need to eat double beef otherwise you’ll regret it.

Visited here as a family of 4. A little expensive, a long wait on new years day but food excellent. We ordered burgers and fried chicken. Chicken was really flavorsome with herbs, non greasy and really tender. Potato and Kimura fries also great along with...milkshakes! Very polite service despite the wait.More

We were expecting amazing burgers but unfortunately we only got average burgers. I got the chef special which was a lamb burger but it was barely warm, which was unfortunate. My daughter’s kid burger was hotter and more enjoyable. My husband’s chilli burger was barely...chilli-like but was hot in temperature. We asked for just a kids burger without the chips and they charged us the same price as with chips. So we said we’ll have the chips then, if it’s the same price. Staff were not very chirpy, maybe we got them on a bad day?? The buns are nice, and the chips were tasty. We won’t be rushing back anytime soon.More

As a Taupo local i have waited a long time to try Paulys and yesterday i took the plunge, i was hoping for a Fergburger type of experience. To say i am disappointed is an understatement . Paid $23 for a double cheeseburger , it...looked great , first bite seemed ok but it gradually got overpowered by salt which i think was in the sauce. I won't be returning.More
