What a surprise

Finding ourselves in Taupo around lunchtime, we went in search somewhere to eat and happened upon this place. Having scoured the menu we settled on burgers with a small side of chips. My husband chose the Blue burger with Bacon and I, a simple egg burger and though we had to wait a while it was well worth it as the food was generous and delicious. The menu is extensive with both Chinese and European on offer and with tables both inside and out, you can sit and eat your food out of the paper in comfort. Next time we will try the fish which our fellow diners were enjoying as it looked very good. A great spot for a cheap and excellent meal.

Best Value in Taupō

Eurasia is my go-to lunch spot in Taupō. For $18, my husband and I get two large sandwiches and a huge scoop of chips, all of which are delicious every time. They take care to cook everything perfectly and have a great variety of options. I love the CBC (chicken, Brie, cranberry) sandwich. My husband had the Combination Stir-Fried Noodles once and it was also very yummy! Thanks for the awesome meals!

We have lived here a long time and decided to try these guys for their Chinese food for the first time as lots of good reviews for their burgers and fish n chips. Yum! The sweet and sour pork they gave us was great. They put the pork in separate packet and sauce in container so we could mix at home and wouldn’t be soggy when we got it home....was awesome. Only slight negative for my partner was that sweet and sour pork didn’t have onions and pineapple in sauce like a lot do. Combination fried rice was also yum. Thanks guys...we will be back!!!

Not the best

Food was not the greatest. Would not go back. Had great reviews online, but sorry it wasnt that great. We tried chow mein and apricot chicken and satay and a rice dish. The rice was probably the most edible.

Fast friendly and good old fashioned excellent food.

Stopped here for dinner recently, takeaway Chinese, from a wide selection of flavours and cuisines. Great service, great meal, will be back.

Quick tasty food

We stopped for a take away, and got a Nasi Goreng, which turned out to be very good and big. The place has an extensive menu on chalk (?) boards covering the walls and items seem to change.

New owners - Disappointing Food. Missing items on burger & basic food only

New Owners - works burger missing Onion / Beef strips / tomato / beetroot /cheese & Mayo. Previously loved these burgers. Last nights was rather bla & very little taste. Vege chop suey only had basic 4 vege - carrot/broccoli/cauli/celery found 3 pieces of onion. That was it! - No mushrooms, corn. Yet still charged heaps. Asked for 2 other items and they didn't do, but on board. This happened to 2 other people while I was waiting. Use to visit regularly - NOT returning.

I walked in waited a very long time to be served The man was very rude and unhelpful I asked what was in the Mongolian lamb he pointed to a picture on the wall which told me virtually nothing I ordered sweet and sour pork with combination fried rice The pork was nice but rice oily and soggy Very expensive for the small servings and quality I won’t be going back

Good burgers, good service

Great menu, yum burgers, good value, friendly and helpful staff. He was happy to change my burger that had mayo in it even though it was my fault I didn’t mention at the start that I can’t have raw egg.

Cheap with some great deals available. Staff are very friendly and the food is tasty and portion sizes are huge. Great location so would have to recommend this place to anyone.

memorable meal

I've never written a review of anything. Ever. But this food was so good and my dining experience so memorable that I'm writing this review. And My husband and I ate here over 3 years ago in January 2016. The food was awesome! The owner came out and talked to us and was great to talk to. This little eatery surprised us with its large and diverse menu and crazy good burgers. I regret not writing this review sooner. I hope business is going well there.

Nice takeaway place in Taupo. Went there for dinner and was happy overall. Price of a scoop of chips was higher and you don’t get much in one scoop compared to Hamilton but it was good enough for two. I got the egg burger which was really good. Very good quality for a takeaway place and reasonably priced. It did get up towards the steep end the fancier the burger around $9. Overall happy with the meal we got but it would be easy for a meal to get expensive. This may however be typical pricing for Taupo but compared to Hamilton a little on the steep side.

I adore coming here for either lunch or dinner, with their massive $6.50 Hawaiian burger, and $3.50 for quite a reasonable portion of fries. Everything is fresh, and you can get quite a range of meals. The fish is always fresh, and the meals are heavenly
