We were gifted a voucher to the Storehouse so went to investigate it. The food looked amazing. We loved our choices of a Buddha bowl and the big breakfast. The only disappointment was when we ordered an oat chai latte (due to a lactose intolerance),...and received a normal full fat milk chai latte. Unfortunately this wasn’t realised until some of the drink was consumed. Apart from this, we loved our time here and will be returning.More

Referred by a friend from Tauranga we investigated this location for brunch today- we were completely blown away! What an amazing set up - the location unassuming, the decor industrial yet welcoming with a roaring fire, the coffee exceptional, the staff delightful and the menu...enticing! So many choices, so many options and so little time to try and for them all in!! Our choices of a Buddha bowl and a kiwi breakfast were both outstandingly YUM!! Recommend this establishment to all and have just bought gift vouchers as upcoming birthday gifts for friends!!More

Equally, this could be called the greenhouse with a little shop inside selling lush plants. All ingredients were Uber fresh and individually cared for with full flavour. Loads of textures and visually very appealing. The cabinet food is delightful and the meals are exceptional. highly...recommendMore

Great food, quite a few options which was good to see. My partner enjoyed the chicken waffles and said they were delicious. I got the smoothie bowl and it was filled with yum fruit.

Disappointed.. food wasn’t amazing. Employees eating on the job coming from the kitchen. Talking loud and on their phones. Service was average, walking away from us mid sentence. Won’t be busing again sorry

Exquisitely made coffee - better than usually found in tourist towns, and very enjoyable eggs bene (eggs spot on, good hollandaise, bread not over-toasted, and with a potato rosti). Buzzing on a Saturday morning, and good for families. Worth the diversion from the town centre.

We have been patrons of The Storehouse for several years but after a second bad experience this year, we won't be back. Should have learnt from our visit in May but thought we would give them one more go. We ordered a Buddha bowl and...the fried chicken sandwich. The "poached" egg in the Buddha bowl was as hard as a rock and the chicken was inedible - incinerated - with a tasteless mix of salad and some revolting plastic cheese slices. Not the same establishment since it changed hands. What a shame :-(More

This is a really enjoyable place. I’m so pleased I took the advice of a previous reviewer and sought it out. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming - it’s popular, but you should find a spot. I stopped here for lunch on a rainy day....On my own I was able to find a seat on the mezzanine level, which overlooked the activity of the cafe below. Menu offerings are varied - I ordered the smashed avocado with pineapple (?), salad, pepitas and poached egg. I added smoked salmon. They told me the wait would be 30 minutes and it came in 20, so that was well managed. It was an unusual combination but quite good. Very colourful - I would have preferred it without all the raw onion, but that’s just personal taste I guess. Coffee is excellent. Service is very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Well done to all and thank you.More

Hard to beat - as good a cafe as I have been to anywhere in the world. Would love to go back for dinner with their live music nights . Will have to be content with an amazing breakfast thus far!
