I visited rotorua recently after the level 3 restrictions with my friends. We were looking for Indian food. This takeaway popped up on our Google screen when we searched for best Indian food. We have ordered a combination of meals from appetisers to mains and...naan bread. Every dish was on top class for quality, taste and aroma. We all loved their samosa. Delicious curries and naan bread was just a more nice touch to our dinner. Very friendly staff also recommended us different places to go to in Rotorua. We all loved their food and hospitality service. Nothing to suggest or recommend all I would say just keep the consistency guys you are awesome. We will be definitely back for the next time. When New Zealand moved to level-2 lockdown, my first thought is we must go to Rotorua so we can have food from Maharaja. We were not disappointed in our second trip. Is the the best Indian in New Zealand? Quite possibly - certainly the best...I have ever tried and absolutely delicious. Everything was amazing - the khadai lamb, the bhajhi, the roti, the fish curry, the muttar paneer. All very different, perfectly executed and moreish. The unassuming premises hide a truly spectacular meal.More

My second visit to the place after a year and the food was great as anticipated. Definitely see you guys on my next trip to Rotorua. And their hospitality is best to none. Especially the young man who takes the order(SUMIT). Good luck Maharaja

It was a blessing to find this place when other places were far away or shut. We took our food to the Kuirau Park where we enjoyed it in natural thermal environment.

On our way back to Auckland, me along with my partner stopped by for this Indian Takeaway and had a wonderful time, we waited only for a while as the staff was very quick and attentive. They all were so friendly and good to talk...to. We ordered Chicken Methi Malai,Lamb Madras and thoroughly enjoyed as it was so tasty.I am glad that I've found MAHARAJA, we are planning our next visit as soon as we finished our delicious meal. I hope you guys can have another branch out here in Auckland soon so that we can enjoy your extensive menu and visit frequently. Well done Team Maharaja !!!!!More
