We have had several high teas at this little coffee shop at the Distinction Hotel now and have really enjoyed them all, the service is really good, the staff are lovely, and the food is divine. Will not hesitate to visit again. There is also...food in the cabinet to choose from which looks awesomeMore

Six of us visited here for lunch and whilst the setting was pretty looking out to the pool and gardens the food was disappointing. Firstly the pizza was awful - a thick overcooked base smothered in cheese with salami. The fish, chips, and salad ordered...by two of us was average although the salad was a huge bunch of uninspiring rocket and the batter on the fish was excessive and overcooked. The worst dish was the seafood spaghetti in a basil tomato sauce. Obviously the chef has no idea how to cook pasta as it was overcooked in a brown sauce which had no resemblance to tomato basil sauce. It was full of miniature mussels, overcooked shrimps and baby octopus. This was without a doubt the worst seafood pasta two of us have eaten. One of us had the French toast with maple syrup, cream, berries and bacon which was enjoyed. Whilst the portions were a decent size the standard of food left a lot to be desired. A final comment regarding the service - most inappropriate of the waitress to comment on the amount of food each person had consumed as she collected our plates. We didn't need to hear 'wow you did well to eat all that' etc. Staff training needs to improve as it is rude to make such comments to guests. Sorry but the food and service doesn't warrant another visit from us.More

After many many years enjoying this place so much it was SO disappointing.today to find that it is all changed. Firstly the price up to $15 from $10.50. But worse... they have changed all the food for the High Tea - the lovely tasty simple...traditional food that we've had here for years is now replaced by heaps of different fancy looking (not nice tasting) fussy little items. It was gross. Really, if it aint broke don't change it!!!! Won't be back.. Such a shame.More

This was to have the High Tea option. We choose this place for the tranquil garden setting. The food offers a selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. It is the perfect atmosphere for conversation.

Had a quick lunch which was a pity as it is a beautiful spot. Enjoyed the sunshine there with a meal and a coffee.

Haven’t dined in the restaurant but used the delivery service to the place we were staying in. The food is delicious. Well worth it. The Crab Meat and Hot Smoked Salmon Tartar is a hit.
