Capers was the best cafe that me and the family had visited while in rotorua. It was lovely there service was so so nice, they remembered our drinks everytime we went in. Really enjoyed our breakfast every morning.
Shared there steak dish and had mussel salad with it. Finished with pecan pie and coffee. The meal was very generous and good. The coffee was excellent and mad exactly as I asked. Only negative was it was a bit noisy
We went there twice for breakfast, and I had a third visit with a friend as well for a morning tea. Both times very good. Very good breakfast menu. Food available to go as well. I had their very tasty Bubble and Squeak with poach...eggs on toast (it had a different but similar name) and then the shop-made granola on the second visit. This was delicious. I thought it needed more milk but it was still very good. I liked the hot chocolate and the raw cakes they make. The raw cakes are very substantial for their size.More
We ordered the granola breakfast at Capers which was yummy. However we were slightly disappointed with the tiny bit of coconut yoghurt and of seasonal fresh fruit. We felt the Turkish toast could be exchanged for a healthier grain bread 🍞. I think they did...social distancing between tables using potted plants and food parcels. Very creative!More
