I'm not sure how we found out about this place but I'm so glad we ate there. The food was delicious, the serves were generous and the service was lovely. My only problem was choosing which dishes to eat, they were all so tempting. We both decided on the salmon for main course but the lamb looked and smelled so... More

We had our conference at Braeside and thoroughly enjoyed all the food :) Highlights included the generous servings of lamb and chicken confit (who can resist crispy skin!) as well as the beef ragu with Milanese risotto. We also loved all the baked goods provided for our morning and afternoon tea and had the most delicious friands! This place would... More

A friend and I recently had dinner at The Brook. Pleasant, cosy atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff. We both enjoyed our meals .My friend thoroughly enjoyed his generous serving of beautifully cooked lamb. I had salmon which was absolutely delicious. Well done! Thankyou Chef and staff. The Brook is situated in Best Western Motel, which is a bit rundown, but don't let that put you off the restaurant. Maryann is a great chef and produces interesting meals. Good variety and reasonably priced.

Staying at the associated motel we chose to eat here on our first night simply because it was easy after a long day's drive. Experience has taught us not to expect too much from these sort of places. Were we in for a surprise! The most excellent meals were served. The menu is not extensive meaning that chef can concentrate... More

In an unpretentious setting our meals were excellent and reasonablhy prices. The service was prompt and not in your face. We went as a family group and felt very comfortable.

Staying at the Best Western, Rotorua, went in for dinner. Cozy bistro, only about 6 tables, intimate, excellent service, great view, and an al fresco dining option as well. The meals were amazing. Tender, generous size, fantastic flavours. Definitely rscommend

Don't be dismayed when you get to the carpark and can't find the restaurant. Keep going past all the motel units to the end where you will find a warm welcome, good food, generous portions and quick service.

We are Rotorua locals and have enjoyed chef Marianne's food on a couple of occasions. It's off the beaten track, just a 5 minute drive from Rotorua's city centre. For those who want a culinary treat for their taste buds and friendly service, don't pass up the chance to have an excellent meal at Brook Bar and Bistro.

We had a wonderful Xmas Buffet Lunch for our Wine and Food Club. Brilliantly presented and tasty food to match some special wines. Fantastic service with nothing too much trouble. A charming little resort that is a delight to dine at.
