Excellent food from a varied

Excellent food from a varied menu. Portion sizes are very big and we could easily have shared two dishes between the 2 1/2 of us. Popcorn chicken was well presented and my partner enjoyed her loaded tacos. Out little one had fish goujons which could easily have been an adult portion. Would recommend a visit on your way to the tree park.

Evening Buffet excellent value for money

On Thursday our family and friends went to try the new' All you can eat buffet'. There was a wide selection of Asian and Kiwi dishes and everything we tried was very tasty. The dumplings were the best. There was certainly 'something for everyone' Both hot and cold dishes and plenty of different sweets available.The only slight criticism would be that some of the dishes were a little slow in being replenished. Probably the best value in Rotorua. We will definitely go back

Great dog friendly outdoor eating spot

Stopped for a quick lunch 30mins prior to closing time and was pleasantly surprised with the level of service we received and all menu items available for ordering. We sat outside with our dog and there were also a few other dogs at other tables too. Meals were bigger than we expected and coffees were great. Would definitely go back again!

As cafes often do, the corn fritters were premade then microwaved. However these were tough around the edges, maybe a little stale too. Baked goods looked nice but the $6 slices and scone my friends had were about on par with ones from a basic pie shop. A good variety of raw food slices were available ($6.50 for small piece). Outdoor seating is beside the road so a bit of road noise along with the nice shade and breeze. Staff were conscientious. Not bad but there are better options for the same money.

Holiday coffee

Wherever we holiday we like to pick out a good coffee spot and in Rotorua this was it. Really nice coffee and friendly service. Although we didn’t eat here the food looked great and certainly will try on our next visit.

Great family cafe with nice food

Friendly service and quick. Food was great. Highly recommend the open chicken BLT sandwich. Perfect for little kids thanks to the playroom and high chairs. Definitely coming again.

Lovely cafe with great coffee

Nice cafe, beautiful inside. L’Affare coffee. Next to the Redwoods where you can go for endless walks, with dogs, and endless awesome tracks. This cafe is well located. The cabinet food looks good, especially the beef lasagna. Very reasonable prices. Caters for vegan and gluten free.

A nice place to have lunch.

We stopped here for lunch last Sunday, on the way to the Redwoods TreeWalk. The table service was excellent, loved the seafood chowder and ciabatta toast. Toilets were clean and tidy with no litter.

Lovely range of food, lovely people

Went twice over the weekend with a large group of friends. Both times the food was delicious and the service efficient and polite. What a lovely bunch of young people working there!! Loved everything about it.

Best banana smoothie

To come to a nice cafe after a long ride in the whakarewarewa forest and gulp down a potassium induced banana smoothie to help the raging leg cramps is one thing, but to say that said smoothie is to be hands down the best tasting banana smoothie anyone could possibly wrap their stubby fingers around is well understating the glorious cherry on top of the already iced cake. We came here for lunch after surveying some more industrial venues across the road and were glad we did. The service was quick and friendly, the food was tasty and the bill reasonable. Recommended.
