We went here for takeout kebabs for the whole family, two lamb and two falafel. Great being able to choose individual salads and sauces for all family members. Everyone was happy. Good amount of lamb in the kebab and great taste. Wholeheartedly recommend.
Have been several times now and always have amazing food. Their Pizza are awesome and can't fault anything I have had there. Prompt and friendly service.
Unpretentious and potentially easy to miss. Has a sufficiently varied menu consisting of the expected pizzas and kebabs. However pasta rice and other options are available. We ordered a meal we hadn't tried before based on chicken that is served in a large fold piece of Lebanese bread but cooked with a variety of other ingredients. $16 per serve. Great... More
We love this place and wanted to bring it home with us so we could visit frequently. Delicious choices, fresh food, ethnic cuisine - highly recommend the wraps. They give you a choice of meat and choices of sauces so you can customize it. Mmmm, we really enjoyed our wraps. We asked them to wrap them up for "takeaway" but... More
Ali Baba's is authentic, delicious and well worth the effort of taking out the food and eating in your room. Fortunately we had a separate table and space in our hotel room. We ordered two lamb berber meals and one order of cheesy bread. Delicious! PS - Don't waste your time walking to Eat Street. It's someone's bad idea actually... More
Just pass the main Eat Street section, Ali Baba's is not to be missed. Stopped here for lunch and knew we were in the right place with all the locals coming in and out for takeaway. Husband had kebabs, and I had the kascrute. Yummy!
We tried the medina pizza, a falafel kebab and the Ali Baba pasta. Pizza was fresh, simple but tasty. Falafel was very fresh and tender, and kebab had lots of fresh ingredients. Pasta was comforting and hearty - good large portion for $16. We shared the pizza and pasta between 3 of us comfortably. Liberal use of mayo!
Authentic Tunisian food. Not very far from the lake and the famous eat street. Has got very limited seating space. Service is a bit slow, so have patience while you are waiting for the food to be served. But it is worth the wait as the food is very tasty. Reasonably priced and clean restaurant.
