The Terrace Kitchen & Bar is a great option for local, organic cuisine in Rotorua. My friends and I loved the cheese plate featuring regional cheeses as well as the vegetarian and fish entrees (most fish options are caught locally). We enjoyed the sunset over...More

We were disappointed with our meal here- Very nice setting but food was just average . Partner tells me his lamb was luke -warm and fatty - not very pleasant. Service was average.

This restaurant looked nice but the food was terrible. To start, our sparkling water arrived warm. Then, our salads arrived with spoiled greens and they had switched the burratta for an egg! We ordered eye filet for the main which was gamey and had a...More

Our favourite meal in Rotorua. It was good to find somewhere a little upmarket. Food was interesting and enjoyable. The wine list was good and the service was good. I would go there again.

Dined here with my wife. Lovely place, helpful staff, unhurried service. Good, varied menu with some unusual items, e.g. grilled lettuce and Gorgonzola salad. Food was delicious. Nice wine list which seemed a tad pricey, but we enjoyed the viognier.

I suppose it is all down to the choice and the chef on the night. On our first visit the food was good if a bit expensive. On the second night the chicken was grilled to death and my wife's pasta was bland and tasteless....More

A lovely breakfast in a very cool spot marred by overly loud and inappropriate teen music and a forgotten coffee order that was dressed up to look like it had been delayed to come out with our breakfast (which it didn’t). We’ve all worked in...More

First dinner in Rotorua. All four of us had the ribs which were excellent. The venue is quite nice, located beside the lake. Staff were efficient and very friendly. Would definitely return.

Loved this bar and kitchen. Great location. Very interesting menu. Wait staff very personable. What to change? I suppose attitude of staff makes a huge difference, especially if they are travellers themselves and working temporarily at a place. We walked past and saw a happy...More
