We went to Alfresco this morning for brunch after my husband ran past it a couple of mornings ago and said it looked busy. First impressions were that it was rustic but cute. Sadly the brunch didn’t really meet our expectations. Firstly we ordered coffees...to then be told they’d run out of trim milk, I mean come on guys go to the dairy and get some!!! They said we have oat, almond, coconut or normal blue top milk. We then ordered oat milk, no wait they’re out of that as well. Sigh. No water was offered so we got up and got our own jug. The food was just ok and when it was all brought out we had no cutlery so while we waited for that our eggs were going cold!! All in all not great, service average, food average. Would return for a 5 o’clock beer but that’s all, hopefully they could get that right. Definitely other brunch places you can try before here.More

The service was average! The calamari was not fresh and the kids fish meal smelled like it was off! Staff just made excuses........with no apology

It was a bit busy but we were not told there would be a wait. I do not have an issue with waiting especially if told. However, we did not receive our drinks or food. After 30 minutes three tables that arrive after us received...their drinks so I asked the waitress how are drinks going? She said she would make them immediately. After another 10 minutes still no drinks (let alone our food). 40 minutes after we arrived all we had was room temp water (which I had to ask for). The table that arrived and ordered well after us now received their breakfast. I could see one of those meals was exactly the same as what I had ordered. By now my daughter and I decided to leave. This was extremely disappointing. We were there to celebrate. Good news is we found another place, Pizza Shack that had drinks to us in 5 minutes and the same meal to us in 15 minutes despite also having several people in their restaurant.More

Visited there today for the first time and was impressed. I ordered the creamed paua, my son and my partner both ordered burger and chips. I'm a huge seafood fan so my meal was really yummy, the other 2 couldn't finish their meals which were...probably larger than their stomachs - lol. But all in all loved the experience and friendly staff, the chef obviously cares about his job because everything tasted good and looked great. Will be going back there again for sure!More

My 3rd time to Alfrescos ... I always have the market fish and it’s always so good ! I really like the portion size here ... quality food - room for main and dessert for a treat ! Ive also heard great things about the...brunch from multiple sources so I’ll be checking that out next time! Staff are super friendly too :)More

We had dinner and lunch here on two separate occasions and both times the food was yummy and the staff friendly. Great location and yummy cocktails at happy hour

Nice setting. We arrived at the latter end of their breakfast serving I had to ask for water which arrived straight from the tap not chilled. 45min wait for a pretty average meal of "bulk buy" type of food. Not somewhere I'd go back to...particularly.More
