Sick of paying for overpriced meals. Hubby ordered the smallest mussels I’d ever seen. The fish in my meal was over cooked and had a sweet black sauce with barley. Enough of the black sauce. ( It’s not squid ink surely!) Move on. Not barley...either. That’s a cheap filler. And $10 for a bottle of water. Meh. A star for the setting and a star for the wait staff. But that’s it.More

Staff were exceptional. Helpful and courteous. A special mention for Inga, she was smiling, helpful and welcoming to us at Zane Greys. Food was amazing. Served quickly and Inga made sure everything was to our liking. Thankyou from the 6 of us.

Beautiful setting however very poor service from the Belgium barman, ordered 2 large flat whites, they were delivered to our seats later, in small blue cups and Cold. Bartender served 6 other people who arrived after us and chattered to females, presume he had made...the coffees then served the others. Not interested in his love life, just want good warm coffee not cold and large size not piddly small blue cups. Won't go there againMore

We visited the restaurant for dinner and had an enjoyable meal, very attentively served by Sylvia!! Delicious oysters and mussels for starters. Can recommend this for a good meal.

Nice bar on the Piahia harbour. Small selection of local beers plus Heineken. Good décor and nice views. Service efficient and friendly, prices reasonable. Close to all the water sports hire firms.

A beautiful location next to the Paihia ferry wharf with great views of Russell and Witangi. Staff were friendly and provided excellent food and service..Lovely place for casual dining and sharing with friends.

With waterfront views, dinner here was fantastic! The same can be said for the staff. From Ethan's greeting and on through our service at table, we enjoyed a wonderful meal. I particularly enjoyed the beef brisket ... tender, moist, sweet, with a nice medley of...vegetables and mashed potatoes. There's a nice selection of wines to pair with the mains. On a relatively quiet evening, empty tables meant that we were not rushed and conversation was not challenged by any background noise. This was a welcome alternative to the other seafood / fish and chips restaurants in town.More

Our last meal at Paihia was made special thanks to the wonderful service by Courtney. We both had delicious fish meals - I had the battered fish and my husband had the Fish of the Bay. Watching the sun go down while sipping on our...wines was memorable. We wish you all the best for the upcoming summer after a few dreadful years with COVID and cyclones! Hope to be back one day. :)More

Went to celebrate mums birthday. Got treated by small gesture by Joy(one of the staff) Was really nice

There was no service. The restaurant was not busy. The staff where less than helpful, we were offered only one drink . Never came back to offer a second. Desert. Extremely disappointing. Would not recommend.
