Love this place but I'm the customer, I shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable! Let me explain, we had been to the movies, decided to call into Milk and Honey for Dumplings and maybe even dessert but we were graciously turned away because they were full so we said we would go to the Hatch (all part of the same... We had breakfast here during our stay at the hotel. The service was fare to average my guess is it was a bit understaffed. The food was well presented and very nice. On this occasion I did not try the coffee.

We stopped here for a cup of tea and cake. The pot of tea was lovely but both the slices were not good - just too sickly sweet. We couldn't eat them, wasn't worth the calories :)

I recommend this place for coffee in the sun, looking out to the ocean & watching the world go by. Breakfast is pretty good too.

We had a very good meal here served via good service. I had Grouper and my wife had Asian noodles with beef. The was a large plate of beef and noodles and I was able to help my wife eat it all. I can say that both dishes were very good indeed. We returned to the Crown Hotel next door... More

Dropped in for dinner on easter friday...not enough staff on tables for patrons. Drinks took 30 mins to arrive and order was incomplete. Dinner was steak for me and a prawn laksa for my wife. My wife's main was so poor that I gave her my meal and I could see why she was disappointed. Very expensive for quality and... More

Good choice of food with delicious flavours. Quite noisy for a Tuesday but worth a visit if you're staying at The Crown hotel. Breakfast was pretty good too delivered to your room.

For at least the last 6 years I have enjoyed coffee, brunch and occasionally a lunch or dinner at Milk& Honey in Ahuriri, Napier. the café has a great location in the quaint Ahuriri village and a lovely sunny courtyard (on sunny days) which looks out to the beach across the road. Until recently my experiences would have rated 4... More

We went for lunch also a staff get together. The choice of food available I felt was poor . Not a lot on menu or cabinet food on offer. We're left to our own devices.

Thank Sally T

We get excited about looking after people and offer sensational food and drink right by the sea. We open at first light and keep going until after the sun goes down. For current menus visit our website.
