Perfect every time

This is not my first time visiting Cinnamon. It is a frequent coffee catch up spot with the girls as it never disappoints. I want to give a little recognition to Cinnamon as every visit we receive amazing service. Every single time we visit we are warmly welcomed by the staff with massive smiles and great positive energy. The team are always so helpful and are happy to help cater to your needs in any way they can. Although always quite busy, the cafe has lovely decor is just the perfect place to relax. Even more perfect on a sunny day as there is the opportunity to sit outside. Coffees and drinks are always very well made and have great flavour. They also offer the most delicious cabinet treats. I am yet to try anything savoury as my go to is always sweet. Especially the oaty caramel slice. On this occasion I ordered the snickers slice which ended up being a great choice and I'm looking forward to returning to order off their menu as the food sounds incredible

Seriously Bad! Choose another cafe!

Well, we had a date scone and unfortunately I don’t think it was made on the premise.It could have been a commercial premix, If not then we seriously have to retrain the cook in how to make a proper date scones. The scone had remnants of what looked like dates and was heated using a microwave rather than a flatbed sandwich griller. A seriously poor effort and one would have to question what the rest of the food was like. If you like soft date scones with no dates then this is the place for you.

Nourish Bowls

The nourish bowl is incredible, the falafel sticks are delicious and crispy. They also make THE best coconut milk mochas. A great place to meet friends, lovely attentive staff and plenty of parking (car park and roadside)

Left feeling hungry and cold

I ordered harissa chicken salad and was dismayed at the quantity i got for $25,and I still felt hungry when finished. The menu said it had apricots but i didn't see any, mint yogurt but I couldn't taste any mint flavor, and pistachio crumb, which also wasn't obvious. The dish was nice but certainly not packed with the promised harissa flavors . It was a bleakly cold day and yet they didn't have heaters on, so even with three layers of merino on I was cold and uncomfortable. Finally the waiter that served us did not wear his mask correctly so his whole nose was not covered. finally we were very close to other tables, more or less sitting back to back.

The service was great, the staff are friendly and nice unfortunately the food was average. Tiny portions and completely void of any flavour, apart from my partner's that was over seasoned and all you could taste was the salt. The tea was weak and no matter how long I left it to stew didn't get any better. The food isn't exactly reasonably priced either so came out feeling pretty ripped off. This isn't the first time I've been here and came out feeling disappointed. Lesson learned, I won't be going back 😑

Didn't live up to the hype

Despite the seemingly good reviews and their Instagram talking a big game, my salmon bagel was so stale and dry that it snapped or crumbled rather than cut with a knife. The bagel's salmon portion was exceptionally tiny. My partner's Prawn tacos had slightly off coleslaw as if the cabbage was old. She had to send the tacos back at first because they didn't make them gluten free as the menu said they were. Also, the bathrooms were unclean with bizarrely sticky walls and overflowing rubbish bin. We were disappointed as we wanted to enjoy ourselves given the reputation of the place however we probably wouldn't bother going back.

Lovely service, but low quality food

I remember the cafe from coupe of years ago being my top 2 to go to in Hamilton. After my recent visit, I can see things are different. The atmosphere is a bit less vibrant and the dish I’ve ordered was below average - unfortunately. I must admit the staff was doing their best and I appreciated it very much. I hope this feedback will be taken as constructive 🙏

Chips were stone cold

We chose this place because it was near my mother in law’s retirement home. I ordered the prawn tacos with chips, there was a 35 minute wait between ordering the food & delivery & when the meal arrived the food was completely cold. Other members of the group had better luck but nobody was overly impressed.

Won't be back

Spur of the moment decided to stop in and take the 2 kids for breakfast. 2 burgers and one prawn taco. The burgers were below average, tasteless patty and very under seasoned and bland. Ice chocolates were watery and bland. Taco neice described as disgusting. Will never go back, well above average prices for well below average food.

Not too be missed!

Great brunch venue. Menu was so unique, I ordered something I love but have never seen. Lamb’s Fry, delicious. Great portion sizes. Boys ordered pancakes with maple syrup and bacon and crispy pork belly. Possibly a little too much sauce in the pork belly then accustomed too but still a great offering. Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend this place if you want one place to go that will offer satisfyingly yummy food that isn’t just ‘beige’!

Just the best!

Busy spacious suburban cafe with easy free parking, always a plus. The food is delicious and the coffee great, but what places this cafe head and shoulders above the competition is the service. Staff are friendly and relaxed but also, importantly, professional. Thank you Amy and Charlie for the years of running a consistently great cafe!

Felt poorly afterwards

My wife and I visited for lunch, both had the same and both felt poorly afterwards. Staff were lovely, it was very busy and the coffee was good. Chicken burger was odd and like nothing I’ve eaten before. Never again

Perfection on a plate

Fantastic Eggs Bene with Bacon, eggs were cooked to perfection. Superb friendly service where all staff were professional and greeted you with a smile. Cannot fault Cinnamon Cafe, one of the best for sure.

A great find.

We found this place in the middle of suburban Hamilton. Great service. Great coffee and wonderful menu to choose from. Seating indoor and out. Can recommend the oaty caramel. It is very popular but the wait is not long due to slick service.

Excellence As Always

Cinnamon is our “local” and we are proud to call it that. Great wholesome food, good coffee, and friendly and efficient service. Yesterday, being Valentines Day, the gave each customer a rose. How awesome is that. Love you guys.
