I have been living nearby this place for years now and would often walk down if I felt I needed. However, I've had mouldy or sour food on three separate occasions now and doubt that they will change their practice. The first was in a...sandwich, where the cheese and mayonnaise on their chicken salad club had turned blue and fuzzy. The second was a few days ago, where the eclair I purchased had sour and melted cream that was so bad it felt like it was burning my tongue. And the third was the day of writing this review, where my family member purchased me a slice of orange cake that was spotted with a few white patches of fuzz.More

Stopped at this village bakery/Cafe for lunch. Beautifully clean. Homemade pies, savory goods made on site. Good selection cakes/sandwiches as well as a menu. Hot caramel Latte.... always a must for me. Spotless bathrooms. Not your city Cafe but highly recommend.

Very poor customer service! Coffee was very bitter and I asked for some milk to make it drinkable. The lady at the counter gives the milk In a small cup and says ‘so now you are want to drink the milk’! When I ask for...a bigger cup to pour the coffee and the milk in the guy says ‘you have to pay 50c for the cup’! What a pathetic attitude! It was bad enough that the coffee was of poor quality! the service was worse!More

I’ve read some of the reviews and have to wonder why they were written. We love this place and stop in for breakfast when we can. Their mince pies are the best around and we stock up to warm up at home for lunch. It’s...great to see them get busier as the word gets out.More

We were driving from Auckland to Taranaki and it was time to stop for caffeine and a snack. We happened across this little gem. The cafe is so organised and clean. There’s an incredible display/choice of food on offer and everything we opted for was...super delicious (especially the curried spring roll... yummy). If we were ever in the area again we would definitely return.More

Kind friendly staff. Really appreciate the work they have presented. My favorite foods from the cafe are lamb and mint pies, and big breakfast items. I loved their roti and pad thai. Favourite beverage i like from there is cappuccino. Great to catch up at...food places with friends. Right in the heart of northwest Hamilton. Happy and beyond fantastic always super business.More

If you happen to be travelling between Auckland, Huntly, Hamilton, etcetera and Raglan, this is the place to stop. The savouries are good and the sweets are delicious. And the barista coffee tops it all off nicely. Highly recommended.

I purchased a Latte 1/4 strength decaf. I was charged $1.00 for the decaf. Absolutely horrified. I asked for a breakdown of the receipt as normally you are just given an eftpos receipt. To my horror he had charged me for a slice of $3.50....I did not have a slice from their cabinet food. I had taken in a gluten free cupcake from another cafe to eat. They did not have anything for people that have intolerances to food. I had asked for my coffee to be put into a takeaway cup but to no avail. It arrived in a normal sized cup. They said it was their large drink. Anywhere else it would have been classed as a small to medium cup. The young lad was very rude to us. The one saving grace was the little coffee I got was very nice. I would not come back in a hurry.More
