We Have had many pizzas from Poppas at St Andrews store in the past, and have always found to be good pizzas for the value, However our last visit in early may left us asking will we be back. Found that very little toppings had been used and the flavour just was not there. Not sure whats going on, may be just a bad day at the pizza store!! who knows. we may give poppas another go......

Pizza tasted like it had been reheated. Base was stale and topping seemed old and tasteless. Definitely over priced for what you get. I think a frozen pizza from the supermarket would taste better. Will not be going back

Popped into the Cambridge store on a trip from Rotorua up to Auckland. We rested a Moroccan Lamb and Italian, if it was the World Cup it would have been a surprising win to Morocco. The lamb was really nice but the Italian was still very good but the lamb was full of flavour.

Why bother with the other pizza places with their ‘same old, same old ‘ food when you could try the pizzas here? Good choice; good prices, good service. Well worth a try.

Recommended by our hotel as a cheap pizza place, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza. 2 basic pizzas are $12 !
Much better quality than the big pizza companies.
Kids enjoyed it so much that we ended up eating there again later in the week.

Have had Poppas pizza several times but last night ordered it for visitors as we were going out. I arrived 5 mins early, the hot pizza was ready with the visitors really enjoying it. A good range of choices are available at very reasonable prices.

Large pizzas made with love and great flavours. You'll find the service second to none with delivery to your door for orders over a certain value or can relax in store (which I did this time) and watch your pizza's being made. Recommend for a different taste experience to the mass produced brands.

I've been here several times now for take away pizza. The staff has lways been very friendly and accommodating, they even bring food to your car if it isn't ready yet.
Nice pizzas with every choice you can think off. I miss mozzarella sticks on the menu though, that would be an amazing addition.
The only thing I could comment on is that they give an estimate when your pizza is ready to be picked up and often I still have to wait for my order well after that time has passed. But hey, I do get hot and fresh pizzas and having this place just around the corner is an absolute plus.

Friendly staff, great ingredients and awesome value for money. If you feel like takeaway/delivery pizza it definitely delivers. Sides are enjoyable too. I would rather prefer to buy from this local owned instead of buying from the big franchises and they have even made an app for smartphones for convenient ordering.

We ordered over the phone,as the website was undergoing maintenance, as got 2 large pizzas, fries and a big drink for $22.99 as part of a deal they have. This place is at 3 Braid Rd, Hamilton. The place was clean and tidy and has a couple of places to sit down while you wait.small table etc. Friendly staff. Wheelchair access. Normal waiting time of about 10-15 mins.
Bought the Afterburner, which had plenty of heat, nice amount of toppings, and also the Hawaiian, which was good but had a taste of curry powder or something like that, which didn't work for us. Decent serving of fries, nice and crunchy.
All in all, not a bad place with pretty good pizzas and good value for money. Would come here again. They do deliver, conditions may apply..
