Incredible flavours of india!

We had a quick holiday in Mahia and wanted to finish with a bang when we returned to Gisborne. Wow, what a delicious meal it was. My Chef Special was simply gorgeous. My wife had her favorite extra hot Vindaloo! It was amazing. Our entree...Garlic tikka was juicy, tender and so tasty. Mushroom and peas rice was so flavoursome and Nan breads cooked to perfection. Our waitress greeted us with a beautiful smile at the door and sat us down with our menus. Didn't take long at all before we were eating our favorite dishes. So impressed with this restaurant and the waitresses. Thank you.More

Great food and hospitality!!

Great food and hospitality!! Easter Monday so much was closed but we phoned and were able to secure a table with only a reasonable wait time, we were greeted warmly and the place was buzzing, the restaurant busy and takeaways flying out the door.. this...didn’t impact on the service we received or the food, it was outstanding.. we love Indian food and know a good and authentic meal when we have one .. highly recommendedMore

Great food

Good menu, well presented and tasty. Large dining room so felt a bit empty. Forgot my phone, but no sign in sheet. Pleasant staff.

FABULOUS!!

We always have a fantastic time when we go to Bollywood as a family. The staff are amazing, the food is exquisite and even better the manger creates such a lovely atmosphere for all diners. Baljeet goes out of his way to make our dining...experience personal at his restaurant and always comes to talk to us. The aircon was a lifesaver catering for the 30 degree gisborne weather. Food never fails and is consistently divine. Will never go anywhere else for Indian food in Gisborne!More

Best Bollywood in NZ

Flavoursome, spicy and tantalising are a few of the many words that describe these curries! These are the best curries in NZ, the restaurant is immaculate, cool, clean and beautifully presented! Worst food ,bad service I

Worst food ,bad service I have tried their food before and I have had worst experience....though give them one more chance..ordered paneer tikka masala and butter chicken.Butter chicken was so salty and tasteless and in panner tikka masala their was only few pieces of paneer...and sauce was so watery.Restaurant was not so busy but we waited so long for our order.waiters was looking so aggressive by face .she even didn’t apologise.worst experience once again...we will never go back .,,More

Pretty good

Dined here during our stay in Gisbourne. Staff were a bit slow with taking our orders, getting our drinks etc. Starter came before the drinks were served (took about 30mins to get our drinks). Mains arrived not long after drinks. Mains were really tasty and...we really enjoyed. Overall was a pretty good meal, service just a bit slow.More
