Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely little cafe that also serves vegetarian and vegan food. My sunshine salad did not disappoint and it will be worth going back for that alone. Spread the word, this gem is worth the effort to find.

My moko/granddaughter asked if there's one in New Plymouth (where we're from.) I said No, she reckons they should go world wide Nan. I agree. Delicious kai, lovely service, yum coffee. Kai reka!

Great food, great coffee every time we've visited. The toasted sandwich is always delicious and the cabinet is full of raw sweets. Have gluten-free options, some keto options.

This is a hidden gem that's well worth making your way to. It's got the most delicious food. We often go there for lunch as there's so much we can eat that's vegan. The best by far is the salad bar where you pay $12...for a regular sized salad, and choose what you'd like in it. There's a huge range to pick from, and all the dressings are vegan, including satay sauce and aioli. The vegan burgers are the best we've ever eaten. The sourdough buns are like kissing soft lips - they're spongy and so soft. The hemp patties are addictive. We recently tried their keto wraps but the little patties inside were too dry for my liking. We've also tried their baked kumara with vegan cheese and chilli beans - yum. They have excellent baristas, so you can be sure you'll get a great cup of whatever you like - they have all the non-dairy milks you can think of. And then there's the cabinet of sweets - so many of them vegan like their "Snickers" bars and huge cheesecakes. Utterly delicious and decadent. The staff are beautiful young women with a social conscience. They make school lunches and their goal is to provide good healthy food for the community. I can't recommend Puku Ora highly enough. You should go there At Once!More
