Had a very nice dinner here with authentic and tasty food. Big serves requiring a doggy bag for next days lunch.

We had a birthday celebration and made this choice for the first time and we all loved it. The food was very good and a large variety to choose from. We definitely will be back.

We must have arrived too late because we didn't get many choices with the dishes. A bit disappointed at the lack of service and the dishes weren't fresh. A number of people came in after us but they appeared to be getting what they wanted.

You don't normally put friendly and dim sum in the same sentence but this place is very good. The dishes are lovely and the place is heaving. Best book or prepared to wait. Its up a set of stairs and is nothing fancy to look at but does the business when it comes to Dim Sum - yummy!

When you dine at a Chinese restaurant and are the only NZ'rs but the restaurant is full of Chinese people you know it's authentic! Delicious, huge menu. Affordable, friendly staff, great service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Food was delicious, fresh and hot. My bestie and I were out looking for somewhere to eat for a late lunch. We are so happy we found Pearl Garden. The restaurant was quiet after the lunch rush which was an added bonus. We will definitely be back to eat more dim sim. Thank you

The yum cha we had at the Pearl Garden in Newmarket/Auckland was simply perfect. All the dishes were tasting great. The 4 of us had all sorts of dumplings (beef, shrimps, seafood), chicken feet, rice-rolls, fried calamari, icecream, tarts … The place is busy and if you look for a quiet restaurant this is definitely not it!

This place serves high quality food, which we really enjoyed. Very good quality and cooked well. We had prawns and scallops with X.O sauce which were cooked just right and soft shell crab, which was also cooked just right. The service was excellent and friendly, we didn't need to wait at any point to be served and the food was... More

We live in Australia now but first started coming here nearly 40 years ago. We come to Auckland often and always come here. Better than any Yum Char in Australia.. by far. Do yourself a favor! Nice setting, great staff..

Had a really good Yam Char here at Newmarket this morning. The dim sims were delicious even though there wasn't that much of a variety but they also had a good selection of rice and noodles dishes. One of the better Yam Char places here in Auckland NZ.
