Casualy walked in this Chinese restaurant and the decoration is in a very traditional Chinese classic way with all this calligraphy painting on the wall, Peony flowers and lanterns. The restaurant is lightened up by yellow tablecloths and the lighting. The food is authentic Chinese, nice fabulous portions with very cheap price and free tea included. Definitely coming back.

We eat here almost 2x a month, and our fave is the fillet fish with soy sauce, absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!

Try the garlic chilli chicken for something hot, so yummy and for the kids prawn and vegetables there is over 20 prawns

The atmosphere is great here, the Service is excellent, the Dinning Room is clean and tidy and warm on a cold night. You may even here the kitchen staff going hammer and tongs speaking in Mandarin trying to solve China's problems. The food is well presented and the table settings and Table Clothe is impeccable. You don't have to have spicy if you are not inclined, the staff are very accommodating.

Have only eaten here once. Ordered a take out from the menu which was the Fish Lunch Special. It comprised a pile of fish bones (skeletons) with a small amount of sauce on rice. There was no flesh on the bones. Maybe this is how it was supposed to be, but I certainly wasn't expecting such a dish and was very disappointed. Needless to say, I haven't been back.

This is probably the best Sichuan restaurant I have visited in Auckland. It's not fancy by any means but the food is fantastic. If you like genuinely spicy and hot Sichuan food this is the place to go.
The menus are in both English and Chinese but it's quite difficult to make out what you are going to get just by reading the English descriptions.
Their cold noodles are fantastic.
At our first visit they probably didn't dare to go full out with the chili but if you let them know you enjoy genuine spicy Sichuan food they won't hold back.

This is an authentic Szechwan restaurant and as you would expect they serve spicy food and indeed the food actually is spicy.
The restaurant displays an “A” grade hygiene certificate although the table we sat at was not perfectly cleaned.
We were the only non-Chinese family in the restaurant. To be honest the menu is not catering for Western tastes nor Western ideas of what spicy means. Having said this there were dishes on the menu that would appeal to everyone who likes a nice spicy meal and who wants to stick to mainstream ingredients.
We have the “super spicy chicken” and it certainly had plenty of chili; it was truly delicious. We also had the dried beef, spicy wontons and a sweet-and-sour chicken (for our children). The food was of a high standard.
The service was very good with attentive and genuinely interested staff.
So long as you know what you’re going to get from an authentic experience then this restaurant is hard to fault. We will definitely be eating here again.
Credit cards aren’t accepted.
