Had a great experience on my visit to Bawarchi, lots of options to choose from, you could feel the aroma around. All thanks to the team helped me to get to taste what I liked from the menu. A must-visit place 😋👍🏼
Stale food and expired one, may lead to food poisoning. Spoiling the reputed name of hyderabadi cuisine. Avoid and becareful of this restaurant please folks.
We arrived and were told they were about to close but the staff asked us to sit and order quickly. We ordered our food promptly and as always food was delicious. I prefer Bawarchi to Paradise. As we were about to leave, one of the...staff approached us and said they are closed and asked us to hurry up and leave. Absolutely rude, if you don't want people hanging around after closing, why invite them in the first placeMore
Used stale Paneer, when I called to tell them the paneer is as hard as and I can’t even chew or it won’t even break with a spoon they said I might have overheated when I didn’t heat it up at all . You can...see in the pictures the takeaway container is fresh . They asked me to bring back the paneer at 9pm when after a hard day at work you want to have dinner and rest . They argued on the phone with me for 10mins rather acknowledging that probably the chef would have over fried the paneer or else how will the paneer go so hard that one can’t chew . We buy paneer all the time it should be soft and creamy to eat . I asked them to send the picture but then they said what will we see in the picture , one can see through the paneer hoe hard it is and the colour has gone brown over frying it rather it’s white and soft inside . Will never go back back or recommend as such bad customer service . I normally don’t complain about little things but you can’t straight blame a customer as if I over cooked and I’m asked to take the Paneer back to them at 9pm rather trusting a loyal customer .More
We had lunch at Bawarchi’s Dine in restaurant yesterday. Enjoyed the meal, was made even better by the friendly courteous service provided by AFROJA. Thank you very much AFROJA, a credit to the business.
We were standing in the restaurant almost 30 mints after that than when it’s our turn to serve we ask about buffet, staff said sir please wait I will be with you shortly , after 20 minutes he asked Ruchika that these customers here for...buffet and she said it’s close almost after waiting of 50 minutes . Pathetic . Please don’t go there specially night time .More
I have removed my previous positive review of this restaurant as my most recent experience will be the last time I eat at Bawarchi. Its standards and value have plunged from excellent to terrible. We went there for a Saturday lunch, and initially sat in...the restaurant for more than 15minutes without any service or even a staff member to ask anything of. We then made the poor decision to try their buffet next door, and this was the most pitiful buffet I've ever had. None of the food was even heated, they could not keep up with the demand for naan, and nothing was flavourful. We will never return.More
I just went to Bawarchi Indian Restaurant for the their promotion Indian Buffet, and it is the worst restaurant I’ve been to. Note, worst restaurant, not just worst buffet. For the first time, I did not pig out at a buffet. I felt embarrassed to...have so much food left on my table. My dining partner my wife and I was in fact trying to find something edible, in the end we gave up and settled for a few scoops of rice. The whole buffet is cold when I asked for the hot food and Front staff a a girl with tattoo on hand is said everyone one is having it what is the problem with you. I was like r u seriously joking ??? She was very mean not supposed to be working at this place and sorry if the owner you should better behave and learn manners. Almost everything else, especially the meats tasted like it was cooked several days ago, refrigerated and then reheated, or just simply not fresh meats used (detected from the taste and texture). You know the dry texture caused by refrigerating rice? That was how the Pulao and rice was. Deep fried spring rolls which had to be served warm atleast but was cold like it was sitting there from ages, It was as though it was pre-cooked hours before and served without even reheating. I asked for the naan bread as there is no naan bread on the buffet counter and she said it will take time. But the staff should need to understand the whole point of buffet is ready to go but we waited for 10 minutes for the naan and when I asked again she replied its cooked in Tandoor (oven) and tried to explain me how long is the process of making naan. Seriously, I am Indian and being an Indian you are telling me how long it normally takes to cook a naan bread what 2 minutes.. Selection wise, Bawarchi Indian Restaurant was sorely lacking authentic Indian food. Buffet doesn’t mean bad quality food, I’ve eaten buffets at many places in around the region, there was no buffet any worst than my Bawarchi Indian Restaurant’s experience Sunday 14/08/2022.More
I ordered food on 14th November, Dal Makhni, Balti chicken, and some bread. Extreme disappointed. I have tried Bawarchi couple of times and always had a good experience. But this time it was a complete wastage of time, money and food. Breads were dried not...fresh but eatable. Dal makhani was watery and tasted like tomato soup. Balti chicken was full of food colour, too much oil, and spices were added from top and not even cooked. I only had one spoon of each gravy and can feel the burning sensations. out of ten i will give -1. I drove all the way from manukau and was so excited to eat. We are for sure never ever going back or recommend anyone. We end up ordering at nearby restaurant.More
Ordered a family pack biryani and guess what, it was all rice except 5 small chicken pieces that wont be sufficient for 1 person. Total rip-off, never go for this order !! We packed our lunch for next day (2 persons) with 2 small pieces...each. And the photo is all the rice left behind with 1 chicken piece (2nd photo) !!More
After scanning through the reviews for this place I ordered chicken Biryani and honestly it was horrendous. To begin with, I jump into it straight away after getting back home and to my displeasure found out it was cold. Surprisingly that didn’t bother me so...much as I was famished. What made me furious was to find out there was only a tiny single piece of chicken innit. Again to think of the chef actually plated the Biryani intentionally with a single piece was far fetched. There wouldn’t be any possible reason for such a vendetta against me. So I called just to let them about the whole ordealand get one with it however the lady whom I spoke to go all defensive on me and said what I mentioned couldn’t be true. Woah! Can you believe that!!! All I was looking for was for some empathy and prevent any further escalations but not the case! Highly disappointed.More
Absolutely delicious food . Also plenty of vegan / vegetarian dishes Which was great for me . Will definitely come back here again .
Visited the Christchurch Bavarachi with my family and we were thoroughly satisfied. the food fabulous was divine. You got to try the Hyderabadi biryani, Bhuna chicken and the Sri Lankan fish curry. The food was really flavoursome and authentic. highly recommend anyone visiting Christchurch to...try them out. Thank you Sandeep for the excellent service provided. We will be back again .More
Second time bad experience. First time when I visited this place was 2018 and I ordered chicken fried and guess what it had no chicken just egg!!!! 👎 Tonight was a family member's birthday and unfortunately the restaurants we wanted to go were crazy full...so had to go here. 😑😑 All the other staff were nice and friendly willing to help. The Asian one was very rude and full of attitude!!.. My Dad likes to joke around and she was giving us negative vibes couldn't wait to get out. We waited more than 15minutes for them to bring our cake. So we left!!!! The chicken was bad and had a bad smell made us sick. To be honest we're never coming back again. I would recommend for everyone to go paradise or satya. Worst birthday experience 😑😑👎👎More
