Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great cup of tea and tummy toastie. Serving the tea with an espresso cup is a bit silly, though. I get that it's a coffee place, but most tea drinkers want a somewhat bigger cup!

A flavour packed breakfast which was for Auckland prices the closest to being value for money that I’ve eaten to date. Usually I pay a small fortune for a disappointing breakfast but this was far from disappointing. It had flavour texture and quality products which...were beautiful put together. The lemon ginger drink was also a whammy for me as it was fantastic and a nice change from the usual drinks on offer. So a winner in my tummy!!More

Excited to find this place but unfortunately the coffee was not good. Weak and slightly burnt. Also terrible flat whites...maybe they were lattes? Won’t be back.

I live and work in Sydney and you know how much Aussies love their coffee. I am Auckland for a business trip and after trying couple of coffee shops I came across this one. Just loved it. The kind of latte I was after. Very...conveniently located though not front facing. It’s in the Britomart shopping arcade surrounded by some known retail brand outlets. As I write this experience sitting outdoors sipping my hot latte enjoying cool breeze with my maple sweet scone..couldn’t have asked for a better me time.More

Great little find on a morning wander. Really really good black coffee and a simple bagel which tasted delicious!

My tour guide suggested this place. Though I was not so sure of his recommendations but the place turned out to be perfect. I ordered a large cappuccino. It was awesome. It was so good that I walked few steps back and gave in person...feedback as well. Must visit.More

Sat outside and had coffee, hot chocolate, and a bagel. Table service okay. Nothing special but did the job.

We stayed at The Quadrant Hotel, and it’s a short walk from there. My husband searched for “best coffee in Auckland” and found Espresso Workshop, it did not disappoint. Lovely smooth coffee, but still full flavoured, food was beautiful and not overpriced. We ate here...each of the three mornings we stayed in town, and it was great the staff remembered us. If you’re staying in this area, definitely save yourself the trip down to the viaduct and support these guys.More

Not situated with the best of views but we wanted a good coffee. What we got was a great flat white. Even before tasting it you could tell it was going to be worth it. Very good coffee. Well worth the walk.

We come here every weekend. The coffee is the best in Britomart, and we always for their ham and cheese croissant. Not heaps of indoor seating but on a sunny day it's great to sit outside. Staff are also very friendly

Nice modern cafe with good coffee - we ordered cappuccinos takeaway. Didn't have to wait long. This cafe clearly pride themselves on their coffee knowledge and take the drink seriously.
