Elliott Stables is a great concept and well worth searching out. There is food of every sort available, plus drinks. There are many tables, none of them allocated to a particular food outlet so you can sit where you like - and might have to,...because the popularity of the Stables means that many are occupied or reserved. It is busy and fun, and part of the enjoyment is wondering around the food outlets, wondering what to choose. We picked the Big Little Grill and were served with charm. The food was produced quite quickly but was cooked to order and was really good. However, there's no problem waiting for food while drinking a beer in such a lively, enjoyable atmosphere.More

The restaurants at Elliot Stables should not be described as a food court - it's a wonderful collage of restaurants serving a diverse array of food styles that deserve "wows." We ordered the mouth watering lamb chops at Little Big Grill and they were super...yummy and very affordable. Staff was patient with us while we figured out what to order (everything sounded so good). Highly recommend you give them a try! The restaurant/food choices at Elliot Stables were amazing and if I had 3 stomachs, we would have tried more. For the most part you find seating in a open area with long tables and after ordering, your food is delivered to you. Some restaurants have a small eating area inside but it's fun to mingle with everyone and socialize at the communal tables.More

We enjoyed a tasty lamb dinner here. The wine by the glass was good. We had the lamb meatball with chips and the lamb skewer with salad (better of the two). The staff were friendly and everything was fresh and tasty. The area has an...interesting concept with shared tables. Seems to work well. Recommend.More

The grill is part of a food court called Eliot’s Stables! Many food choices. It allows people to pick different kinds of food and select their own table! I had the grilled lamb cut into thin slices with rice and salad!

Ordered the sirloin steak with chips and a salad. The steak was properly cooked and the chips (fries) came out nicely heated. The service was fairly quick and the price wasn't to bad.

I had grilled prawns, the best in a long time and so nicely presented. My husband and friend had the steak which was also cooked just how they like it. The atmosphere is not at all like a food court and the food was so...tasty we went back agin while staying in Auckland. Definitely worth the visit.More

A-mazing steak! I've had steaks that cost twice as much and did not taste as good/weren't cooked to perfection. I mean so good you don't need any extra sauces or gravys... and the chips just got in the way. Plus, if you're friends or family...don't like steak Big Little Gill perfectly situated in Elliott Stables so they can go get anything else from seafood to Thai and join you at the table as you enjoy a sensational steak.More
