It’s located in the stables but has it’s own eating space which they have made special. Food and service excellent. They know how to make you welcome. Get them to tell you how they made a special breakfast for Obama when he was in town.

Is very spensive and the plates are not big, we asked for "milanesa" (tipycal plate in my country) but the plate was a very false "milanesa", small, spensive and no good flavor. I don't recomend it

This was our first dining experience in New Zealand and proved to be a great choice. It is within the Elliott Stables complex but has its own seating area. We were impessed by the welcome of the server who took time to familiarise us with...the menu and make recommendations. We settled for a fish taco and a Lovers' Burrito with some wine and beer. The meal came to $NZ 62. We were confused by the server's coyness about our tip. We were soon to discover that tipping is not the norm in New Zealand but the service was worth the tip.More

Incredible food. Friendly staff, lovely ambience. Service could have been a little faster, but apart from that perfect!

We called in at around 6.30 on a Saturday and were pleased to get a table. The guacamole was brilliant as were our mains. The bean stew in particular was very good - huge portion and according to one of us who had travelled in...Columbia it tasted authentic. Desserts were good, tequila was good and the service and ambiance were great. Recommended!More

We were walking around and decided to look at Elliott Stables for lunch. We walked by Besos Latinos and it looked good, so we decided to have lunch there. I had the Diabla Chicken and my husband had the Enchilada Lunch. Both meals were attractively...presented, a generous size and delicious. We would definitely eat here again!More

Great looking restaurant with authentic feel to it. Excellent location in the city - was quiet, although not many patrons. The margarita was really nice. Corn chips with salsa and guacamole was a ‘meh’ moment, edible without impressing. Mains were a mixed bag of satisfaction....Churrasco steak tasted nice although a little tough on the teeth and the steak knife ripped it to shreds - like trying to slice it with a bread knife! The sauce smothering the chicken Diablo was sooooo hot it became inedible. Perhaps put it on the side. Tacos were ‘okay’ and the quesadilla was nice. The coconut pudding was very tasty. Three people ordered hot chocolate but they’d run out - !!! Water jug was never filled by staff who clearly weren’t busy. A few in our group had been here before and thought the food quality had gone downhill. Which is a shame because it’s a great spot.More
